Just as the title says what is (in your opinion) the worst thing about your favorite game (or just any game really)? For me, I hate how quickly engineers can upgrade their sentries in TF2. Almost all the time as soon as I get in the enemy base at the start of a game to steal the intel their is already a fully upgraded sentry ready to one shot my pyro. I really think they should make the sentries upgrade after a couple kills rather than just getting metal and upgrading them cause engies always build near the restock room to get more metal easily.

for Mass effect 2 its the moral decisions, they turn it into a way to get points, theres no reason not to go for the paragon/renegade option and the game punishes you for not ridgedly sticking to eather one or the other regardless of what you actually think plkus it takes any real thourght out of it, you can mix it up a little though it makes comander shepard look like she has bi-polar

Hmm, I'll pick two out of maybe 15 possible games to work with.

Terranigma: A level, a single level, can determine whether your kicking ass or taking it up the ass. Actually, more importantly, the dash attack, with it's temporary invincibility time makes the game a bit unbalanced.

Final Fantasy VIII: Unlike most, I really dig the story, or, at least, the character's stories, I jsut think Rinoa really needed more development. It's romance, a crucial aspect, is a bit one-sided, and that's unfortunate.

The way you have to acquire Ultima and the Zodiac summon in Final Fantasy Tactics. The spells have to be cast on you; Ultima isn't too bad since only the main character Ramza can get it. Zodiac however, your character has to be a Summoner, live through the cast, and only one enemy (a secret boss) in the entire game uses it.

Dissidia:

The grind can be annoying, especially AP grinding to master skills. Even using the Chaos trick or ExDeath trick, Leveling up and AP farming can be a long and tedious process with the amount of skills there are.

Also, no way to set more specific parameters like brave pools and equipment. It would be nice to play against an enemy with base stats only instead of relying on who has the best gear all the time....bad enough the computer sometimes cheats.

Oh and no online play!!!

Thankfully both these aspects are getting fixed in the sequel...except the online play part.

The only thing I can think of that is negative about Tales of Symphonia is the fact that after a certain point you can't cook certain recipes because it is impossible to buy the ingredients needed for those recipes. This means that towards the end of the game when I went to max out the cooking of every recipe on every character I couldn't because I couldn't buy the ingredients I needed.

Fable 3: ...I really like this game, I really do. But, there is so much about it that I don't like, it's to call one thing it's "worst aspect." I'm torn between having it rely so much on LIVE interactions and it's lack of customization in your character and weapons.

For an easier one, Final Fantasy XI: At least the last time I played it, it was seriously lacking in any ability to solo effectively (at least with most classes). I think it was starting to try to fix that towards the time I stopped playing.

Halo Reach-Matchmaking

Everytime someone leaves the whole match freezes for a minute while it 'finds a new host' and the teams won't rebalance for the rest of the game.

Generic Gamer said:
The more I play Sins of a Solar Empire, the more obvious it becomes that the enemy AI cheats in regards to recon. I move a fleet form my picket world to reinforce a besieged world and receive a message saying 'say goodbye to Gallifrey' (nerd), timed to occur when I move my fleet. A massive enemy flotilla now attacks my newly undefended world...

...except that they have no idea I've moved my fleet, they can't have, not even with maximum detection unless they're Vasari and they have no idea if I've moved up fresh vessels from my primary shipyards.
You realize the non-human team can get a research where all ships that are jumping anywhere on the map are visible, right?

EDIT: Also, remote sensors can pretty much do this.

The most common complains are the long opening (around 8 hours) and that it's pretty easy. I really don't mind them, I loved the opening because it does a good job at setting up the story. I really don't hate anything about that game.

For me its the lack of multiplayer bots. Given that the game came out in 1997 it's got a pretty good excuse though, unlike recent games that have no excuse whatsoever.

Morrowind, for screwing itself up and forcing me to reinstall the game after I modded the crap out of it.

I don't know what happened, but placing one of those files just screwed up the game to the point where I couldn't even load a game.

Persona 4- You get Naoto so late in the game it hampers her character development and forces you to rush her social link.
Odin Sphere- You were never a PS2 game, so stop pretending to be one. The horrendous loading times and lag show that.

.hack//G.U.

the best way to describe it is compared to other JRPG's, G.U.'s gameplay has a uh "thinner line" than most other JRPG's in sense that you can't describe it, but you know you have a little bit less freedom than other JRPG's. But I got no complaints, (unlike other JRPG's,the story is only like 1/3 of the game, once you beat it, there is still plenty of fun things to do, but what i respect the most about it is that its kinda like CS:S in the case that you want to play it not because you get something special out of it or rewarding, but the gameplay is just so fun. Its one of those games that you keep playing because its fun all on its own where just the gameplay is reward enough, not some stupid title, emblem, or unlockable weapon (you know what I'm talking about)
