What is the worst thing that has been said to you over an online game?

Really, I wish to know something that has really made you mad. Something that makes you want to abandon that game forever because some one can be so dumb or just trash talk for the fun of it when you really aren't that bad. As for me it was over World of Warcraft when I was made fun of because I wasn't 2k in arena in the past 2 seasons.

Nothing has made me really mad in an online game. I just tend to laugh when people insult me because I don't have l33t skillz.

Team Arena in Guild Wars (Although granted it didn't make me mad because I got revenge usually and anonymous comments bug me very little)

"Kick that ****** off our team his build sucks".
I got on a different team and kicked their fucking ass. I then proceeded to lay down some rather personal smack-talk... which if you know me is rare, I rarely smack talk.

That happens to me a lot. Tons of people just take Guild Wars way to seriously.

Never been mad because of an insult over PSN. I did have some guy though, when playing the Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta, that made me laugh to no end.

We were playing a RPG only match, and he constantly went

It find it generally doesn't get worse than people spewing out the '******' and 'jew' insults, and even then I find it funny when people use them because it usually meets a ban or a kick.

Nothing's really offended me online in the past decade. Once you've met thousands of people or more, you realize everyone says the same crap over and over, thinking they're the first to ever say it. I find that sad. Sad for them though, I still laugh. I played games competitively for a long time, but I don't bother "caring" enough to get angry, especially about comments kids make online.

Just to ease your fears there, millions of people have said that online and I can think of about 2-3 cases in history where it actually happened. Generally, it was a friend though, not even a stranger, or it was about a girlfriend/boyfriend, not about games.

The stupid kids you meet online who make empty threats could never be bothered to even leave the house, let alone fly to your city/country and kill you then fly back only to get jailed for life. I honestly don't think anyone that stupid can exist. Play your games and if you don't like someone, mute them.
