They gave us Tower of Prep and symbiotic titian and Unnatural History. All good shows doing new things that were actually pretty good. Then nothing Cartoon Network dropped them or hasn't talked about them since. I wanna know what you guys think about that?

I don't know about Tower of Prep of Symbionic Titan, but Unnatural History was one of those CN Real things, wasn't it? They dropped all of those shows like a hot potato once they realized that not only were the ratings bad, but people were actively complaining about just how terrible they were, and how they didn't belong on Cartoon Network.

Incidentaly, Cartoon Network today is better than it has been in quite a while. They've got Young Justice, Batman: The Brave and the Bold, Adventure Time, and quite a few other great shows, while in recent years, they've had one or two decent shows, and a ton of crappy imports from Canada.

Oh, but Hole in the Wall survives, of course.

Symbionic Titan got cancelled? Ooooh, that stings...

Adventure Time has really been the only thing I've enjoyed lately. I can stand and sometimes laugh with Regular Show, but I could really tell CN was declining when Misadventures of Flapjack became they're star show.

Adventure Time, the only show they've had for the last while that I like. Fire the groin-apult.
T.V for the last 4 years has been very crapy. The last two with the recession I can see why but since it started before that theres been maybe 3 or 4 new cartoons I actually liked. Well thank god for the internet, I can just go back to watch old cartoons and anime.

I don't know and I don't care to be honest. (Not about the topic, but about CN's new direction)

I grew up watching Dexter, Johnny Bravo, and all those now-classic cartoons. In my opinion, ever since, CN has been trying to do something remotely similar to all the original and popular yet simple cartoons they had back then. The only good thing they have going on right now is Adventure Time and Pokemon. And Pokemon isn't even theirs. And it's never-ending.

And yeah. Real-people shows are not welcomed there. Leave that to Nick or Disney Channel. That's CN. I have to admit that Unnatural History looked okay. But again, I felt like it belonged in Nick, not CN. CN is more childish, silly, random. Yeah, I know there are silly, random and childish live-actors shows, like iCarly. But, well, the thing about CN is that it's always been about Cartoons. Hence the name.

I think I digress. But you get the point.

Edit: Oh, and I don't remember the other shows you mentioned. Sorry.

CN mostly sucks now that Symbionic Titan is canceled and The Secret Saturdays will probably not get a third season. Young Justice and Generator Rex are still good though.

I watch Nicktoons, they've got an awesome new Voltron series and they're remaking Winx Club the right way (hate you 4Kids, hate you so much.) Not to mention, the new Avatar miniseries coming out eventually.

Ever since chowder and flapjack went down it's been going downhill. Regular show and Adventure time are still good though.

Nope, it ended on a whimper in 2008.

Basically, Cartoon Network is becoming MTV, as in their programing is becoming less and less cartoon oriented.

From Hole in the Wall, to Destroy Build Destroy to Children's Hospital, these shows should not exist on Cartoon Network.

Dunno about Cartoon Network itsself (haven't watched cartoons in years), but I do miss Toonami. Is that still going?
Toonami is no longer around, hasn't been for a good period of time now too. They still show Ed, Edd, and Eddy with a good number of other mentionable classics. Oh lord, I'm nostalging hard over here.

You know what. I miss the Power Puff Girls. Sure it sounds girly, but the amount of "wholesome" violence was Grade-A meat cooked to perfection.

They were awesome, back in their Toonami and Dexter's Lab and those shows... days.

And then they got confused and went to bullshit such as "CN Real"

But now they have shows such as Adventure Time and Regular Show, which amuse me, even if only for their weird factor.

Funny thing about CN....I put it on while surfing the web (dunno why) and what should happen to come on totally at random smashed between 2 other shit shows.....2 Stupid dogs...I know right?. And it was not during there early morning "show all the classic shows at 5:00 in the morning while nobody is awake" broadcast, This was on at 3:00 in the afternoon. No other classics followed...nothing....I don't now what the happened, but for a moment I felt my childhood.

It's happened to all of the good cartoon channels. They're trying to get a new tween audience with these real people shows. The actual "cartoon" cartoons now aren't able to hold up to the older ones. I may just be nostalgic but Nick, Disney, and cartoon network were better as cartoon channels with actual cartoons.

Distance Cartoon Network from Adult Swim, dude. Two entirely separate monsters.

Let's just cross our fingers and pray that the remake of Thundercats is at least three fourths as good as the old one. At least it'll be better than Ho In The Wall. And then plant operatives in Cartoon Network, displacing the saps who put these crap shows on and start running the classics. While thanking the lord for Boomerang.
