what is you favorite band

hey guys i want to know what your favorite band is. i just want the opinions of others to see how many people like the same music as me. okay so i want you to post your favorite band and why you like them.

my faavorite band has to be metallica because they are the epitimey of metal and have wicked solos. and some of there songs have a real nice drum beat.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club... if you've only ever heard Weapon of Choice because it's on GHWT or RB2 then you really don't know anything about them. It's been said they are the Doors for our generation. They mix blues and rock plus others and their sound really is not like any other band. They are an amazing live band too. When I saw them they played a 2 hour set that included a 16 minute encore.
