What is your favorite apocalypse themed T.V. show?

I just got finished watching Falling Skies on TNT and I got started thinking what the best apocalypse themed T.V. show was. What do you think?

I'm not quite sure it would count as technically the apocalypse wasn't worldwide, but Jericho was definitely my fave

Does Battlestar Galactica count? That involved lots of Earth-like planets getting nuked.

I agree. Although I would say most TV Shows that fall under the post-apocalyptic category tend to fall back on cliches and aren't very good. Like Jericho, for instance. But The Walking Dead was marvelously done.

toss up between Falling Skies and Walking Dead

Walking Dead has better writing and atmosphere but Falling Skies delivers more action and actually capitalizes on its presmise more often while Walking Dead too often has entire episodes of just the humans having conflicts with each other

I'm actually torn between Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead and, even though I've still not seen the final 2 episodes of it, Falling Skies.
