I prefer my Game cube controller out of all my consoles even though my PS2 is my favorite console ever. I would say the PS2, but the analog sticks are loose as hell.

So what about you guys? It can be controllers for any console, from old school to next gen,or for some obscure consoles.

The Xbox 360 controller, I'm very used to it...

But I think it's easier to snipe with a mouse and keyboard...

The MW2 edition 360 controller is really good.

The pistol grips feel good and counter sweaty gamer hands.

The sticks are a little more precise than the standard controller.

Plus... it has pretty green lights!!

Probably the Wii-remote and nunchuck. It definitely feels the most natural out of the current generation.

I really like the 360 controller. It's comfortable, it's just the right weight, it's rechargeable and the buttons are laid out so well that it's perfect. The triggers have just the right amount of give, as well. I like the PS3 controller except for those fucking mushy triggers.

I grew up with Playstation and N64. Of those two 64 wins hands down. However, the PS2/PS3 controller would have to be my current favourite.

My least favourite are the GIANT Xbox ones. Xbox 360 controllers are much better.

I like my 360 controllers second too. The bumpers are stiff as hell though, at least on my controller.

Possibly the FragFx but I haven't had enough time to try it out yet, but failing that I'm going to buck the trend and say the dual Shock 3 (but only if the extra triggers are included)

Mouse and keyboard, overall.

If we're only talking about actual gamepads then it's going to have to be the various iterations of the Dual Shock, or maybe the SNES pads.

It's perfect for a three-handed freak like myself.

No, I'm joking, I actually quite enjoy using one.

The N64 Controller is pretty sweet but I like the 360 controller too. They both just fit in my hands really nice like.

The N64 controller also looks really awesome and different

Off-topic: Did you, or has anyone here, try that MW2 throat mic? I really want to get one, but it seems kinda gimmicky.

I also want one for my cellphone so I can feel like a special forces badass while talking to my mom.

For some reason I've taken a liking to the PS3 controller. It just feels different, but a good kind of different.

Keyboard and mouse for me, if that counts.

It was great for throwing at people, i'll give it that.
And although it was ugly as hell and horrible to use, i'm going to say the snes controller. I dont know why, it just feels right in my hand.

Hard to say. I still have fond memories of the Genesis controller over the (S)NES, I'm apparently one of the few people who liked the N64 controller, and the Gamecube is pretty good...

Toss-up between the Gamecube controller and the Wiimote+Nunchuck combination. The former is a nice combination of comfortable and extensive (though I have bad luck with the L and R buttons sticking, for some reason), while the latter feels more natural, if harder to get used to initially.
