Just as the title states, what is your favorite cutscene of all time, from any videogame ever released?

For me, it would be a toss up between the cinematic for the original World of Warcraft, Any cinematic in Diablo II, or the ending cutscene for Metal Gear Solid 4.

Anything with Dante in it!

I just love his one liners and wit in the DMC games

So much this.

Lucifer is one of the best cutscenes I have ever seen, just because of Dante, the music, and the innuendo.

Oyes! My favourite was either this or Pandora

The Trickster cutscene from Thief: The Dark Project

Stylish, dramatic, unique, important to the plot with spot on dialogue and voice acting as well as being vaguely terrifying in a biological horror sort of way. The perfect cutscene, not just a bunch of CGI put together to look cool nor endless dialogue.

The final scene in InFamous always made me feel like such a badass. Plus, it has a crazy awesome twist if you aren't expecting it (I wasn't).

The first Persona summoning from Persona 3.

Such a great scene.

Incredibly close second right here.

This is my favorite, the opening cinematic from Planescape: Torment.
It sets up an intriguing beginning and an amazing tone.

Eh? I'd say that's the worst cinematic I've ever scene. Overly long, tedious, bloated, arbitrary and unnecessary. The arbitrary BS of bringing Big Boss back... It's awful, in my opinion.

The Kingdom Hearts intro. Beautiful graphics ahead of its time, Amazing music, and a great concept.

I really don't like the cutscenes in DMC4, either. To me it comes across as pointless posing, it's timewasting that's just getting it the way of actually playing the game, which is vastly more fun that watching any of those cinematics. What's worse is that the cinematics are frequent and lavishly produced while they skimped on the gameplay budget so much that they repeat almost all the levels and almost all the bosses. WTF?

Sin attacking the SS Liki in FFX. The game is 9 years old and it still stands up with some of the best depictions of water.
