Paradox fail!

OT: I dunno. I guess Diablo 2. It was fucking amazing, I just loved every aspect of it.

Shadow of the Colossus.

Beautiful and serene atmosphere and a simple yet great story. Proof that you don't need constantly yapping protagonists to communicate a storyline. Add to that great battles and an epic soundtrack and you have a winning formula.

Homeworld 1.

a mixture of the HUD of Homeworld: Cataclysm with the units and story of Homeworld 1 would probably be better. But I don't think that exists. So Homeworld 1.

Morrowind introduced me to high fantasy role playing. It is my favorite game of all time. A close second is Shadow of the Colossus for the sheer brilliance of its every aspect.

Xenogears on the PS1. In my opinion it is best story ever told in a video game. I played through it when I was fairly young and at that point I didn't get a lot of its deep philosophical and religious themes. I played it later on and it blew me away even more than the first time I played it. One of the few games I will admit to crying real tears at the end. It almost didn't make it to the states due to its controversy so I am so glad that it did.

The Ace Attorney series. Man I love those games.
Amen brother, it's a sad thing that Phoenix retired.
Maybe, but it's not like the series has taken a dip because of it. I think it probably was for the best.

Fallout 2... Why? Possibly because it came into my hands at some weird planet alignment which caused my underdeveloped brain to get curious and allowed me to actually get sucked into the game and enjoying it as much as I did.

Seconded. Morrowind is full of win. It's a truly epic RPG that doesn't hold your hand or tell you what to do. With so much to do and see, I was well over 100 hours into the game before I even really started the main storyline.

The summer of 2002 was completely consumed by this game.

UFO: Enemy unknown. It's best game ever made for reasons too many to count

how can a clone of a clone be your favourite game, it makes no sense to me

Half-life 2. I love the atmosphere, universe and characeters of that game. I just did yet another playthrough of it last week and despite it now being about 6½ years old, it's still as fun for me to play that it was the day it came out. A fantastic game I could play over and over again.

Also, me and a friend of mine play the multiplayer from time to time. There's nothing quite like killing your friend with a toilet. It's awesome.

Legend of Mana for the PSX. It's not without it's flaws but to me it's the closest to perfect I've ever played. Well written stories, incredibly diverse fleshed out characters, great replay value, beautiful artwork, amazing soundtrack, tons of customization.

Yeah, it's just my favorite game ever

Persona 3 and 4 are battling it out.
I just need to find out if P4's true ending is as good as P3's good ending.
