Id otn honestly respect either. If you want to shoot guns at each other, its called war, go enlist. At least thent here's not bitching and moaning that you cheated just cause you're better.
Thought Mostly I dont cause the people that play (that I've met) like to think they're hard and tough for it, like people who play a lot of FPSs and think they could survive in real combat from it. then again, I've played both, and just dont get hte thrill. Especially whenever you can just bring a paint can, say fuck it all and pour it all over someone and say you win.
.. Gaming forum, most of us shoot pretend guns at each other in some form..
It's just a game platform it's not really military simulation without a real focus (learning not to die when you go fight) or the threat of death (Actually fighting)
It's a game with tactics as valid as any other.
they wanted and opinion. I didnt say every gamer is like that. Just the ones that are, we all know them.
What?
you may want to increase that last post so you dont get slapped with a low content warning.
and you quoted, me, then said about this being as site of gamers. I figured you meant I was insulting gamers with my comment, which I wasnt. Its just an opinion.
Not low content when it drives the discussion forward. I literally didn't know what you meant and need clarity on it. "It's just an opinion"..
Well duh, you can't offer anything else, it's a moot statement and not a defense for anything. I can't ever offer more than just an opinion on anything.
"Id otn honestly respect either. If you want to shoot guns at each other, its called war, go enlist."
That applies to every FPS gamer too, simply put, you don't respect FPS gamers because they don't want to get shot at for real.
alright, I'll specify. i dont care for either, mainly cause I dont get the thrill. I can see where some people would, but I just live dangerous, so I dont. my problem isnt with the games (I've played, and with friends, I can have fun with both, but we usually make it tougher then the average game), but with the people who 9while this doesnt represent everyone, so dont tink it does, please its not meant to) get overconfident and talk themselves up like because they're good it makes them on par with an actual soldier. yes, they're a small group, but also thery're usually the most vocal. yes its hypocritical to make my opinion based on that, but i get tired of it after growing up in a military family, especially with an uncle who was in 'Nam, and even today gets spit at for it. but I'm getting off topic.
Point being, i dont have a prblem with stuff like that. I really dont. I jsut have a problem witht hat vocal minority of people who ruin the image of the majority.
