Last time, I asked people what was the stupidest thing they ever did in a game. This time I'd like to hear about the opposite side of that coin. What is the *coolest* thing you have ever done in a game. I'm not talking about what you think was an awesome cut scene for a moral choice in an RPG, but rather something that happened in the game because you were smart/quick/whatever enough to *make* it happen.

Here's my own example: Back in the days of the Action Quake 2 mod, I was playing a game of 8 on 8 (that was a large game back then. Some people still had dial up modems :D ). The Action Quake 2 mod was one that tried to make the game more like an action movie - head shots were lethal, you couldn't carry 12 different weapons and unlimited ammo, and wounds would bleed if you didn't stop to bandage them.
The map we were on was called "Gorge" or something like that. It had 2 plateaus with a large gap in between them and a ski lift connecting the two. My team got killed early and I was left to face off against 5 other guys Bruce Willis style using nothing but a 9mm and a pair of ninja slippers (they silence your footfalls).
I heard one guy coming around a corner and jumped out to put a bullet between his eyes. The next three came at me all at once in a small room next to the ski lift. They were all out of bullets and were going at me all Bruce Lee style. Friendly fire was on and I jumped between two of them and coaxed one guy to put a throwing knife right down the other's throat. The last two in the room took two of my remaining three bullets and went down, but not before laying a nice smack down on me and leaving me with 5 health.
I heard the ski lift activate outside and ran out to see the last opponent inside, facing away from me, headed to the other plateau. I took a running start and leaped from the side of our team's cliff down on top of the ski lift in motion and dropped through the escape hatch on the roof. I typed a quick message into the console, "Turn around", then pulled the trigger before he could.

(btw, next round we lost 8 to 0 :) )

One time was in Team fortress 2 on the balloon race map, I alone as a sniper, held the entire enemy team back until the final control point.

I felt like a badass

Uncharted 2 multiplayer in the temple. Couple of arrogant jerks (who kept killing me) go to the center of this room and start fist pumping so I threw a grenade and they both died. That may not seem like a big deal, but it was pretty hilarious at the time. They even said that was cool.

In Halo Reach I accidentally run into 3 enemy players, and with a little evading behind cover I somehow managed to fully assassinate all three of them.

I couldn't tell whats more amazing, my feat or the incompetence of the other players as they failed to stop me.

TF2. Went into a base by myself as a scout. Killed eight guys, got the intel, and killed two snipers on the way out.

Felt freakin' amazing.

I was going through my seventh run on Demon's Souls while playing on stage 3-2, so you can imagine that it was a *****. Three different players invaded my world at a time attempting to kill me since I was most likely the only person there. Killed all of them and still defeated the Maneaters without breaking a sweat.

Felt good man.

In the first Shogun total war, i sent a unit of battlefield ninja to sneak attack the other army's general unit, causing a fight between just those two until my unit routed back towards my army with the general charging after them. When they got close enough i had every gun unit in my army open fire and wipe out the general along with the 2 ninja that were left.

Assassin's Creed 2
In a Assassination contract (Side Mission) I needed to kill a man in Venice who was out on a small ship with some guards. I hijacked a boat and sailed it to his. I climbed up onto the side of the ship. I saw him. I bounded up and threw down a smoke bomb. I stabbed him with the hidden blade and dived into the water. I sent off swimming back towards the mainland/city. I has half way back to the city when the smoke lifted and I heard his guards looking for me back on the ship. It was badass.

BF:BC2, 362 sinper headshot bonus on Heavy Metal level online.

The other guy took 6 shots at me and missied(i heard how close they where, the seventh hit me in the arm? but i didn't die) i spotted him, ranged the shot and fired.....just over his head. As i reloaded, the enemy sniper was smart and began to move downhill, quickly. Once realoaded i took my second shot, lowered my scope by a fraction and judged the speed he was running. "Crack"....about 3-4 seconds later the kill came apon my screen. Kill, Headshot....one of the longest ranged headshots i've had to date, the fact that he was moving was all the better.

The first one that comes to mind is a legit 44 kill streak in MW2 without doing anything like noob-tubing or spawn camping my heart was going 60 to the second and my mate had gone to talk on the phone abandoning me but I still somehow survived.

Hmmmm, I'm going to go casual with the 454 streak in Fruit Ninja. Yes, many of you have probably done better.

Playing AC:B multiplayer, I was in first and being hunted by three guys, so I found a crowd and started walking with them. Later I noticed my target come bounding out of the woodwork before suddenly starting to act all cool, apparently not knowing I already saw him. He walked toward my crowd, my crowd walked toward him, and I leapt out of the crowd and killed him. I felt fucking pro.

I ended up finishing in 3rd, but I still felt like a winner.

The only one recent enough to come to mind is when I attempted InFamous on hard mode. I was at the final boss, and it was so intense I could feel my heart beating. But I was so in the zone that I successfully dodged almost every one of his attacks, zapped his brains out when he kneeled down to breath, and eventually won.

My personal greatest moment. Sindragosa 10 man heroic. Got her down to half a million HP and everyone was dead but me. (I was a Paladin tank). Used everything I had and took her out. Vent exploded after that. The guild was quite happy.

2nd greatest I can think of right now. MWF-1 head shotted an enemy 20m away with a rpg. Was awesome.

With all of the Assassin's Creed, Team Fortress 2, and Modern Warfare 2 in this post, this might feel a bit out of place, but it was actually in Super Mario Sunshine. I was hosting this week-long Mario stream earlier this week (presumably because that sort of thing might get banned in the near future, so I wanted to get it all out of my system). In the Noki Bay level called "The Shell's Secret", you have to be thrown to other platforms via the muscle-bound Chuckster Piantas. It can be a particular pain in the ass when you talk to the Pianta one nano-meter to far to the right, and they end up throwing you into the dark abyss o' death. But, I managed to get all the way to the end, without dying, first try. And what made it even more gratifying was that I knew that everybody that I had ever seen try this level died at it many, many times. Sweet satisfaction.

Update: Just remembered another cool moment (not bragging here, they are few and far between most of the time :) )

Left 4 Dead 2, the second map of the first campaign. Our team was in that long pedway before the gun store. We had walked around a wandering witch on the way up but then a horde rushed up after us. I threw a molotov and that wandering witch walked right into it. I had nothing but a paddle bat and a mac-10, so I ran like hell for the store, with the flaming witch chasing me all the way. She was gaining on me two steps for every one I took. I jumped down the stairs, threw open the door to teh gun shop and slammed it shut behind me. I dove over the counter and grabbed the SPAS shotgun off the shelf. The witch ripped a chunk out of the door as I hopped back over the counter and shoved the barrel of my new gun in her chest and emptied the whole ten shots. My heart was pounding like crazy :)
