Like what specific glitch or moment (if any) caused you to temporarily stop playing fallout from pure frustration/anger?

For example, I fast traveled to Freeside and my whole inventory was cleared out except for what my character currently had equipped.

what about you guys?

When (yesterday) I first got to the Strip, and after doing some missions, it began to slow down on me and start freezing whenever I go into the strip area. I can't even play it right now because my only save was in the Strip and it crashes while loading. My auto-save is corrupted and I spent about 40 hours!!! I was like "WTFH?" Now I'm back to playing Halo: Reach and playing the new map pack and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.

after the first patch, I was getting the reload bug on .357 revolvers and cowboy repeaters really bad... and unfortunately my weapon of choice was Lucky, the unique .357 revolver. I only played occasionally until the second patch came out, after which I discovered the incredibly shoddy map physics along ridges and such that I wanted to snipe from with my newfound Ratslayer... thankfully most of that was fixed in the latest patch. There are still a few tweaks needed, but nothing game-breaking.

The whole boringness of it :/ The only time I could pass the boringness to actually beat it, I had used a mod which gave me a god-modded pistol and speed ran through it in around 10 minutes(number exagerated)and then I thought
Wow these mods are awesome
So I got some more and quickly got bored and went back to WoW...

The bugs in general. I remember doing a fast travel to do a quest and when the loading screen finished, I was stuck in a wall.

I have it on PC so it crashed every 20 minutes or so.

A shame because the story and characters were so much better than the terrible Fallout 3.

Walked into the Thorn...

Started a match...

Saved game before match... (first mistake)

Won, but couldn't leave through any doors...

Reloaded save...

Tried to go back out the entrance, but after I loaded on the other side (and my game autosaved) there was another locked door...

So now my level 30 character is stuck in the Thorn for good... and I've moved on to Fable III. Maybe if they patch it I'll play again, but I'll miss my bad ass character.

My stupid floating robot disappeared and has not returned no matter what I do. That and I reached the level cap with half the game still left unplayed. Waiting for DLC to raise level cap and patch to be able to summon companions or at a minimum see a location for them.

Seriously though I don't mean to hijack, but can anyone tell me how to make ED-E appear again, and don't tell me the vault 22 trick because it doesn't work. Playing on the 360.

Finished it, and I'm waiting for an upgrade so I don't have to play it on lowest settings.
For all this "it'll be the same as Fallout 3", it seems to take a hell of a lot more to play.

>Buy PC version on Steam
>Play it as soon as it unlocks on midnight.
>Bizzare visual glitches.
>Wait two weeks for modders to port FO3 mods over. Play Resonance of Fate in the meantime.
>Get mods.
>Visual glitches gone.
>Play though whole game.
>Fun times.

At level 24 I have decided to stop playing, out of pure frustration.
I have it for PS3

Reasons:
-The fact that it crashes 3-4 or more, every time I play.
-Every time there's screen tearing/jumping(which happens allot), I think it's about to crash. Frustrating.
-Companions glitching out.
-Quests that you go back and forth between two people, needlessly.
-I want to enjoy my experience and be immersed. And the constant fear of crashes and glitches removes all that.

I mostly buy new,and first day.
But I waited hoping that enough patches would fix it, I was wrong.
I'm glad I bought used, I wouldn't pay them for this game.
The game glitches out just as bad as Fallout:3, spend time on your engine, cause clearly they haven't. Engine is heavily flawed.
I want to play this game and I want to finish it.

And to say open world games have their glitches. Assassins Creed had minor problems, but were all fix in the Second, and improved on even more in BrotherHood. That's very open world, short load times, and no crashes in their latest installment.

I haven't played it yet, I'm refusing to until a fully-fixed GoTYE comes out that won't be useless/break my PS3
