What makes you an uber-nerd?

If we face facts, every person on this Earth is most likely a total nerd for some reason or another. What is the number one thing that would discriminate you as dork?
It could be your usage of the term 'uber' (see above), your computer with the triple SLI 580's that cost more than a car, an obscene collection of trading cards, an obsession with hannah minx, etc.

Mine is that despite having a pretty decent computer, a 360, romantic relationships, and college courses to go to, I still spend much of my freetime playing MUD/MOO/MUSH/etc's.

When I'm driving in my car with my girlfriend, we sing the songs from Dr. Horrible together. She takes Penny and I do my best Captain Hammer/Dr. Horrible.

Sometimes we switch to keep things interesting

I spent 20 minutes during dinner explaining to my mother why the Star Wars prequal trilogy was a pile of shit and why my fiancee (who was also at dinner) is a pillock for liking it more than the original trilogy.

Damn, I love being a geek.

LARP'in. That is commitment to some serious RP'ing... I mean acting :p'

EDIT: I've never done it, but this would define someone as the 'uber' nerd

The fact that I am on a website talking about video-games while the Superbowl is on television.

I'm a nerd because I have a collectible solid silver Captain Kirk coin, which was made for the 25th anniversary of Star Trek. I just wish that I had the Spock and Enterprise ones too, then I'd have the set.

I am nerd because I think about every word I hear and guage it on how good it is in hangman and scrabble. I can also tell you that to win in scrabble it's about who RETAINS the letters. As in the word "retains" has the most permutations of seven and eight letter words and is made up from seven of the most common letters and it's incredibly easy to get all your letters out and the 50 point bonus. I had a game of scrabble with my dad and he got all his letters out 3 times whereas stupid old me only managed it once. I can also tell you that I have only once not correctly guessed a word which my friend had in hangman (it was fucking "xbox" as well) and even managed to get one when it was the brand of his pen and not a real word.

My family and I take these things stupidly seriously.

I mean there are a shitload more reasons but this one is most unusual/the best.

Probably the fact that I don't go anywhere without a portable game of some sort makes me a nerd.
Uber-nerd can't be much different... And I always found it odd that just because I enjoyed different things (video games, TCGs, RPGs) from what others liked meant I was a "nerd".

It's an annoying way of separating people based on interests.

Sorry if that's off topic, but it always annoyed me.

I tend to grind on JRPGs while doing other things. Im actually doing it right now. It takes me a while longer to do stuff, but keeps both interesting

That's not being a nerd, that's just being an ass. An ass who's wrong, as well.

As for me, I love remembering pointless and obscure facts about games, tv shows and the characters in that.
Don't get me wrong, it was a light hearted discussion. I wasn't ready to rip people a new one for having a different opinion than me. Way to jump the gun.

Man, this isn't nerd at all. This is amazing.

My take? I guess reading Prey storyline just after hearing Nolan takes it template, reading entire Knightfall saga just after learning Hardy is going to be Bane.

But Uber-Super-Nerdom-of-All? How about knowing Klingon?

Because I have taken several quizzes on the internet to gain evidence for the fact, and then compiled them onto a business card document for future reference in case I ever need to prove I am a nerd.

If that doesn't cut it, I suppose it would be the effort I go to in order to research things of little consequence and recall them and other things very quickly. Also, I where glasses....yeah.
