Hello people of the escapist :). As i have passed my first year of university i have a lot of spare time on hands for the next few months. So the film nerd that i am i have decided to spend it watching movies, unfortunately i have exhausted my dvd collection and need new things to watch. Any suggestions? Just for your information my favourite film is The Departed and stuff like that, also 'guy' films like Rocky.

In a Sentence-Suggest some Movies i may like.

For the fun action movie pair, the Boondock Saints movies. For a good horror type of movies, the evil dead movies + army of darkness. For a good comedy movie, depending on your taste, the Hangover.

In a sentence? Can't I list it off? No? Fine.

Let The Right One In, probably one of the greatest vampire flicks ever. Funny Games (the German one, not the Hollywood one), a great, disturbing thriller. Mother (Korean film), about a mother trying to save her son from a wrongful conviction. Dancer in the Dark, about a Czech woman obsessed with musicals during the Red Scare in America. Dogville, the greatest indie/revenge/fucked-up movie.

If you want a lengthy list, send me a message. I am quite the movie buff.

Oh and FargoDog? Damn you! I was going to say Old Boy too...

Brazil. Right now.
Good Call. I really enjoyed 12 monkeys, so Gilliam may be the way to go.
12 Monkeys was good, but Brazil... it's something else.
What's it about, if you could give me a synopsis with as little spoilers as possible. The title isn't exactly as self-explanatory as say 'The 40 Year Old Virgin'

You're asking for the impossible there. You just need to watch it.

Fell free to list it here. The 'in a sentence' was merely summing up my post in a sentence, i tend to ramble.
