We all know movie tie-in games are generally dreadful, but hear me out. I have fond memories of the Bladerunner game, which was made a long time after the film came out, thus it can work, if the game isnt a quick money maker off the back of a new release. So- if you could make a film into a game, which one? What type of game? What elements of the film would be of paramount importance for inclusion in it?
For example, I'd like a GTA-style Akira game- bike fights with rival gangs, storming a military base... and the cool tail light effects from the film.

Braindead. (I think it was called Dead Alive in America or something)
Heads in the blender FTW. Although the lawnmower scene was already done in Dead Rising, but meh. Theres' still 101 other ways to kill a zombie in that film anyway.

Hmmm, neat question. My top choice would have to be Zombie Strippers. I'd be an intense survival/horror game with some over-the-top gunfighting action thrown in for the boss fights.

I'd play it.

I would have to say fifth element, it would play as a first person shooter (or maybe third person play similar to bond: everything or nothing) You just can't beat shoot em' ups that involve intergalactic travel, car chases through multiple layers of cityscape, and a nice sequence in the end opera where all hell breaks loose. That, or maybe a game about a tv show such as dexter, Killing...and solving crimes? Might have potential...

Sex and the City. Definitely. If a movie EVER deserved a game it's that film.

*sarcasm off*

Films that would work as games nowadays usually DO become games, franchise extending sordid arms to create (MOSTLY) half-assed games.

I'd love to see maybe a hack'n'slash version of Kill Bill, or maybe a conversion one of Tony Jaa's films (not a beat-em-up, more like a sandbox version maybe.)

Also, bring back point and click games with noir-esque feels (ala the aptly named Discworld Noir) and maybe do some interesting versions of some atmospheric films (The Usual Suspects, Se7en, Brick).

I've rambled before and I will ramble again...30 Days of Night. In a Folklore style of story division between a Barrow resident and a Vampire.

fight club. but properly, not just the gritty violence in the basements. but also a free-roaming sandbox city where you can live the anarchist dream... and molest street artists.

On a more serious note than my earlier post, a Jurassic Park survival game. As far as I know, there isn't a game based on 'The Park'.

Actually, there have been a few light-gun Jurrasic park games for arcades.

As for what I would want to see made into a game? I would like to see a Stargate game.

Yeah... wasn't that the one with Fred Durst as an unlockable character, or am I thinking of something else. It wasn't half as good as the film it I'm right.
