What really "grinds your gears"?

Hey guys, as the saying from Family Guy says, what really grinds your gears? In other words, what pet peeves do you have and what is currently pissing you off.

For example: You know what really grinds my gears? When people say that they're ugly or stupid, and they're obviously fishing for a compliment. You know what, if you feel that strongly, maybe you are fat. Oh, you're offended? Well you obviously didn't think you were fat in the first place!

Use this opportunity wisely, it's not everyday that you can freely piss and moan about anything on the internet.

I don't even bother going into those threads anymore.

I work for tech support and you know what grinds my gears?
No, not stupid people. The opposite. I hate it when I ask people a simple question about their computer, and they talk about nothing that has to do with it. Ex:
Me: Oh, and did you drop your computer?
Client: Well, this morning when I was going to work, I stopped to get some coffee and I had to stand in line for about ten minutes. Then, when I was getting coffee, they were out of cups, so I needed to wait some more. Then, when I was walking out, some kid ran out the door and bumped me and I tried to catch it, but I was holding my drink so I couldn't and...[ETC]

Also, when people think they're above me. If I'm trying to help me and the person is trying to give me a speech on how The Tempest relates to the discovery of the New World and they expect me to listen.

It sucks.

lol Eri. uhmmm, the expression grind my gears? nah just kidding. i get very irritated at the use of the words "gay" and "fag" as a generic insult (my friend says all my music is "gay", including nirvana, foo fighters, the who, the beatles, and aerosmith). I understand the human need to insult that which you dont like, but can we use words that doesnt make fun of a group that already gets more shit than they deserve? (whoa that got pretentious)
