What Tabs Did You Have Open When You Heard?

I was originally going to say "Where were you?" but that would've turned out to be completely stupid (answer: THE INTERNET).

So what tabs did you have open when you read about the Extra Credits debacle? I myself had a college admissions site, and Facebook open.

Facebook, The Escapist, Twitter, Google plus, Youtube and *cough* isohunt *cough.* I'm just a bit of a social networking whore... And yes it was quite painful when all 3 of those places simultaneously got bombarded with information and posts.

I was doing my usual daily prowling of YouTube actually, switching back and forth between that and, well, this very website when a certain thread regarding the subject caught my eye.

I was just on facebook. I have this weird habit of checking facebook obsessively before doing something else more important (in this case, I was just checking it real quick before I took a shower) And then I saw ExtraCredits posts and like everyone else I came to the escapist to tell.

But I could tell from the fact that it took the escapist over 5 minutes to load, that there would already be dozens of threads about this fiasco already. (Seriously, I kind of think it's funny that everyone is threatening to leave this site forever, but I've never seen the forums so busy and laggy.)

None. I'd just woken up around 7:30 pm, rolled over, and grabbed my iPhone off my bedside table. Flipped through new emails, nothing interesting, let's go check the Escapist. Open Safari, double-tap on Latest Topics...oh, what's this? OMG EXTRA CREDITS IS GONE!? That is as close to an exact transcription as I can get to my first thoughts of this period of wakefulness.

I was watching Teen Mom mainly. I had my email open (because I always do), and only one Escapist tab (an old Extra Punctuation article for laughs). Now I have about three Escapist tabs open because I'm following about three forums at once. Not to mention a couple of Twitter pages, and I don't even have a Twitter account (I rather despise Twitter). This is actually getting out of hand. I might just have to put it to rest and go to bed.
