What the next Smash Bros game should have

Assuming Nintendo makes a fourth Smash Bros game possibly for their next console, what would you like to see them add? I have a number of friends who say that they shouldn't even make another one because there aren't any more characters they could add and no more ideas for improving on Brawl. So I ask you: If Nintendo were to make another game, which...
- characters should they add?
- levels should they add?
- music should they add?
- items should they add?
- features should they add?
- game mechanics should they change?

Well, first of all, there might not be another one, and if there is another one it won't be released for a very long time (if we are to believe the words of the creator).

Anyway, there are a number of things they could improve on Brawl. Characters could be more balanced, online could be much better, ideas such as the Smash Ball could be implemented/improved, stage creation could be improved, that sort of thing.

As for characters they should add, I only have one suggestion - Mega Man.

Paper Mario themed level/character.
The Masked Man as a character.
Rosalina as a character.
Yarn Kirby as a character.
3DS gyroscope-themed level, with shifting gravity and perspective.

Minor variations in combat graphics when choosing a different outfit/color for the player (like a Dr Mario costume that shoots pills instead of fireballs).

Embracing and support of the modding community.

If they're gonna keep Sonic characters in viable territory then I better see Dr. Robotnik in the next one before I see Tails, Knuckles, or whoever they think would be a good idea to add from that franchise.

Stages:

Dracula's Quarters (Castlevania 1), Ryu's Stage (Street Fighter 2), Breezegale (Klonoa), Cutman's Stage, Bombman's Stage (Mega Man 1)

Music:

Vampire Killer, Stalker, Wicked Child, Bloody Tears, Simon's theme (Castlevania)

Stage 1: Jungle (Contra)

Ryu's Stage (Street Fighter 2)

Cutman's Stage, Bombman's Stage (Mega Man 1)

Everything else is just fine. Make some awesome final smashes for the new characters and bam! Great selling game.

Having your Mii as a playable character and allow to customise the Mii moves and apperances if needed. I would like to see add a character from WarioWare.
I guess they may as well add a level from Mario Galaxy and they should add more soundtracks since getting those extra songs were worth it.

Characters: Isaac from Golden Sun and I wouldn't mind Mega-Man but I think they'll cop out and he'll end up just being a recolor or Samus, like look at Ganon and Falco/Wolf their pretty much just different skins and slight variations of the ones they're copying.

As well as I would love to see online not be completely balls, I never had a match that wasn't full of lag or just random choppyness, I was rather let down by that.

Other than that I don't think that there is much more i'd like, well other than a couple of characters here or there but meh (by the way my friend suggested Sephiroth and I called him an idiot for wanting that, or any Square Enix character for that matter, But thats just my opinion)

I'd like them to finally draw the line and say whether it is a fighting game or a party game... though I guess that's more on the communities' shoulder. SPOILER ALERT: Brawl is not a competitive game.

Either way I would enjoy the game, the community just ruins it for me sometimes. It would be cool to see some more SEGA characters if they choose to get more 3rd party characters in there. Other than that? Kamek... nuff' said.

Since we threw Solid Snake into the mix, we might as well add Duke Nukem, Marcus Fenix, Tassadar, Ratchet & Clank, Deathwing, and Venom in as well.

Edit: Bonus points if we get Serious Sam.

I think It would be interesting if Nintendo released a Smash Bros. title for 3DS.

For new characters, maybe Geno from Mario RPG or Vaati in his human form from Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap?

They should have more characters. A lot more characters. Waluigi for one, some from Megaman (if no copyright problems), Toad, James Bond?, the dudes from Double Dragon, some of the characters in No More Heroes, Mike Tyson & Lil' Mac, ghostbusters, and maybe some of the characters from the first Final Fantasy games. They should add music from all of their licensed games and add new stages for every new character and even some extra ones that don't really relate to any of them.

They'd need to buy the rights to do so, but I'd kill to see Banjo-Kazooie in it too.
