What threads just won't die

What threads make you roll your eyes and sigh because they've been posted so many times before?

Grouchy Imp posted a thread earlier today asking how long it was before people posted their first thread. It got me thinking that the big reason I haven't posted one yet is that (being very new) I might post something to which the only answer is "omg this same thread pops up every day" or "had you searched the forums you'd see there's already a thread for this".

For you seasoned veterans. What threads do you see over and over again?

(I'll be very upset if this in itself turns out to be one of those threads)

"Nice Guys finish last" or "Girls want bad boys QQ" threads. Apparently the OPs of these threads are such great judges of personality they know how others perceive them and know the intimate details of relationships they aren't in.

OT: Console war threads. Mainly the PC > Console ones, but all of them are pretty fucking stupid. Same with the threads that hate on the Wii.

Hate threads in general.

I could be about anything a certain game, a type of music, a movie, ect. I hate how all lead to general flaming and hate, and yet people still make threads about it. Worse if the hated subject is something I love, like Halo.

I have seen this so many times I want to claw my own face off. Especially since there's no real definitive answer you can give other than "People have different opinions than you, deal with it".

That's my main dislike.

Yeah, I remember there being a phase at one point where there would be several of these on the same page. Do people really have no imagination?

Actually, I don't. The threads I make are usually copy-pasted from threads I'd posted on other forums, that's pretty sad. Actually, that gives me an idea......

I really hate it when people post in threads just to say 'DURP - I SAW THIS THREAD LAST WEEK!' Or 'Is this search bar approved?!?' Sure, be a smart dick but please contribute to the thread as well.
