60s or 70s. I want to see Pink Floyd live. That's about it, really. It's kind of sad that I'll spend the rest of my 21st century life wanting this.

I wouldn't. If I go back too far, the bacteria in the food would kill me. If I don't go back very far, I would be fucking up my life for not much of a reason.

As OP said, the old west (in Deadwood would be great!) or in the '60's. Great music and singing with the hippies!

I second this statement. Also, Deep Purple live would be kick ass. And Led Zepplin.

Man I hate being born in the 90's.

Since it's not possible anyway, I'd go 256 000 000 000 years into the past just to see how this paradox handles itself. It doesn't matter if matter stops existing. It's just interesting.

Well, I assume he meant that you had been born there, not just travelled.

I was there. It wasn't THAT interesting.

On-topic, Boston, late 16th century, bringing a batch of my friends so when the Pilgrims showed up in 1620 we could shoot them and change the course of history. No Salem witch trials, no religious absurdity, just a real-life game of Sid Meier's Colonization. And we'd treat the natives a whole hell of a lot better!

How about now? Where I could have the assurance of a constant supply of heart medication and easily inserted contact lenses.

Anytime where family farming was really prominent, but can I keep the same mindset for the people as there is now (or better)? I really don't want to go to church or have an arranged marriage or something of that sort. Old world, but modern mindset please.

I'm pretty happy where I am but if I had to change, it'd be the 80's. I'd love to see some of my favorite hair bands in their prime.

Any time period before Christ. Not that I have anything against Christ, I just like ancient times. If I have to choose closely, I'd choose Ancient Greece.
