Hello!

I bought a PS3 only for the last of us. i finished it yesterday, and i regret nothing.Problem is: This game is so atmospheric i dont know what to play next... i really like games that suck me in, that have a authentic story and that makes me think even after i turn the console off. is there anything besides heavy rain that fits? ni no kuni seems great.

is there anything like that on psn - i have a 20$ card and i dont know how i should use it.

Greetings

$20 on PSN? Sounds like someone needs to buy Journey. That and TLoU are the two games that made my PS3 a worthwhile purchase.

For a story of comparable quality to TLoU, I suggest The Walking Dead, assuming you haven't played it already.

Of course i played twd :) i love those games that have such a great story... arent there any other dark/sad/adult titles that tell good storys beside twd, tlou and heavy rain?

i will give journey a shot, tough, i love indie games :) thanks for that advice!

Maybe you could try your hand at Spec-Ops: The Line.

It too is a game that looks like a regular third-person shooter, but goes to some grim places.

Definately not as good as The Last of Us though.

I'm glad I only rented it. Not that I didn't enjoy it - it was pretty good, overall, with the story making up for the weak gameplay - but it was so damned short. If I'd dropped £40 buying it new, I'd have felt ripped off.

OT: Not sure what's on PSN, but you could try the Witcher. I'm not in love with the game, mechanically it's a pain in the arse, but they do interesting things with the choice system. It's usually still binary, but not quite as clear-cut between Obviously Good and Obviously Evil in what it presents to the player.

If you want an emotional experience that makes you think, your best bet is probably Spec Ops: The Line. It's pretty much the only recent game aside from The Walking Dead that's really gotten to me emotionally.

As others mentioned before, Journey and The Walking Dead. First is simply gorgeous, while second is the only game, which has child character I cared about, plus it has nothing to do with main story, certain cameo aside.

Get PS+ if you already haven't and keep tabs on the Instant game collection. Just keep PS+ paid and you'll get some decent games each month.

Captcha: Close Quarters, relevant because Spec ops: The Line is on the instant game collection now.
