One of the longest running series ever, Law and Order, has been annnounced will finally stop being made. The last few seasons have had horrible ratings, so NBC thought it was time to end it. I think it has been a good run and they should never of gotten the current DA and Detectives they have. My question is, what series should just stop as well?

The Marriage Ref. I watched part of one episode and thought "This needs to end".

Heroes. Oh so very much Heroes.

Quite frankly, it should have ended after Volume 1, or at the very least, they should have killed off Sylar. Volume 2 was very mediocre, although that's probably down to the writers' strike. Volume 4 was pretty decent, but Volume 3, despite having the writers back, was absolute garbage. Admittedly, Volume 5 was a huge improvement over the previous ones, it still wasn't nearly as good as Volume 1. More importantly, it didn't feel like a logical continuation of the story. Hell, none of it beyond Volume 1 has.

Also Family Guy. But then, that should never have existed in the first place.

I think Family Guy and the Simpsons should end. Whenever I see the newer episodes I just wonder how they're still managing to pull the viewers.

I will add for the safety of my flame shield that THIS IS JUST AN OPINION

Simpsons. South Park is drawing to a close, maybe 1 or 2 seasons from then and then they should pack up. I mean, the boys are growing up (Unless of course, they can use their new maturity to an advantage).
Scooby Doo needs to stop, i mean, isnt 50 years a bit MUCH?!
East Enders, Corrie and every other British soap that has lasted forever.

The first three seasons were some of the best seasons I've seen of a series. But now the story just puts on it's fading wax wings and heads for the sun. Also one of the main reasons I watch was because of Nancy, but as she is getting older I am kinda losing interest...

South Park.. It's simply not witty or clever anymore.
Yeah. I had been watching from the beginning and lately I'm pretty disappointed with the show. I catch an episode on hulu every so often as an afterthought.

Well, you should be ecstatic, because Heroes is cancelled! Virtual High-Five! Yeah! It's been put out of its misery.

Thank God Lost is ending. I used to love it so much.....

How do you go from: 42 survivors land on an island where weird shit happens TO an ugly guy must be resurrected in a someone else's body? Oh yeah, they totally had it planned out from the beginning!

Stargate Universe. After the greatness of Stargate SG-1 and the ok-ness of Stargate Atlantis, SGU has lost its way. Its a soup opera with the occasional Stargate. This needs to end.

I agree with Family guy, but I'm not so sure about the Simpsons.

It's never been quite as good since he became capable of doing all the spy-kung fu nonsense.
I agree, it was fun for like 4 episodes.

Lol, I remember starting that show thinking "Cool, a survival drama TV show"

It was right around the first time that fucking clicking black cloud showed up that I was like "screw this"

I agree with Family Guy. It's really stopped being funny and the less of these episodes are made, the less chance I'll see a bad one in the re-runs.

Supernatural. Last ep of the current series had a proper, definitive ending. Nicely final...and then...BAM!!!! Silly cliff-hanger. Sigh...

I actually didn't watch the show when it first came out. The first episode I saw was the last of season 1. I watched the rest on DVD. The writers can't decide what they want the show to be about. For example:

First season: It was good. Weird shit happened. I didn't care because the acting was damn fine.

Second season: Also good. The show starts to enter the realm of sci-fi.

Third season: The beginning of the end. A hostile group of assholes seem to know everything about the island, and yet, they don't.

Fourth season: Get off the damn island.

Fifth season: Go back to the damn island! Plus, time travel!

Sixth season: The whole show has apparently been about a puff of smoke fighting some Jesus guy. THE END.

Not only can they not decide, when they want to pursue something new, they just drop the old plotline without fixing any of the loose ends.
