I'm always hearing people going on and on about the worst day of their lives, but I rarely hear people talk about the best day of their lives. Anyone want to share? Theres free hugs at the end :)

I've had a lot of good days. The birth of each of my children were wonderful days to remember. :) There's nothing like looking at that little face for the first time and realizing you're a parent, and this little critter trusts you with all of his/her care.

The face of a child can say a lot; especially the mouth part of the face.

I can has hug now?

Yaich, this is hard.

I think heading off stage while the applause continued unabated behind my back after my first singing performance. It was my first time before a large audience (some 500+) and nobody really expected anything from me, it was in high school and I wasn't exactly popular and known for any musical capability.

That changed the way practically everybody at school treated me for the rest of that year. It also convinced me I should keep singing, which I do with much enjoyment.

It's a toss up between, when I first saw episodes of Spaced and when when I first saw episodes of Firefly.

Edit: Also, the first time I saw the movie Rat Race(Probably the hardest I have ever laughed in my life).

I'd have to say that it's a toss-up. The birth of my son was an incredible day, but it was so busy and emotional...i dunno. That ties with (at least at the time) the day when my two other kids, mine now through marriage, started calling me daddy instead of calling me by my name.

Yeah...nothing really beats being called daddy!

I've been thinking for about twenty minutes and the best I can remember is something that happened when I was about six.

I was in a shopping centre with my mum and we sat down in front of an ice cream shop. A woman who was working there came out to us and asked me to look after the shop for five minutes while she went into the supermarket. So, I watched for a while, feeling important all through, and when the woman came back she gave me a flake as reward for being "Security Guard".

At the time I was pretty happy with myself, but looking back I wonder why nothing else springs to mind.

You may not know me so well, so the following might not carry the gravity it otherwise would, but I bawled my eyes out. Ab-so-fucking-lute-ly amazing. I'd recommend it to absolutely anyone.

They opened with Sfven-g-englar, and finished with a second encore of All Alright. The set list was just perfect. All the emotional ups and downs of a lifetime compressed into two and a bit hours, though scaled down in intensity too. Perfect.

Oh, and I got a piece of Jonsi's bow, which has now become a necklace pendant. :D For the win.

The hug is a lie!

To answer the question honestly, I don't have a bloody clue, I haven't really done much. I guess seeing Metallica and Bullet for my Valentine live with backstage passes in the space of 3 days.

Parkour is whatever you make it, if you have to backflip to get over an obstacle than that's Parkour to you, it's not free running. Parkour is freedom of movement, it's whatever movement you choose to use. I'm trying to learn some flips just to say I can do them, hurting myself pretty badly, but I know I'll get there in the end:D

Parkour ftw.

Oh God if it ever were one, I have forgotten it...

Ah yes- that was a good day, especially when I first booted the thing up... And this wasn't my first computer, this was simply the first time I'd ever built one from scratch...

Wow. ....... ...... There's nothing else I can say really, since I've never seen them live and thus have no real measure of how awesome that really must have been.

EDIT: Building a sweet gaming rig was not the best day of my life, though.

Or spelling. (I'm just joking, by the way.)

For me, I think the best day of my life was meeting my friend from several years of blathering online. Anime Convention weirdness aside, it was a really fun weekend, mostly 'cause I had a lot of friends there that I was meeting for the first time. I'm a huge people-person.

Optionally, yesterday, for all the responses my thread got.

October 10th, 1995 was the exact day I peaked as a person. It's all been downhill from there.

My GF surprised me by dressing up for my birthday and... yeah not gonna have that on this forum.

However the memory soured after she cheated on me 2 months later and had some double dealing going on with our mutual "friends".
