Escapist! You guys enjoy your Tuesday? Only 3 more days>< bleh.

SO, essays; we all have had to do them at one point or another...heck, I should be doing one right now;D. I get sidetracked easily, shh.

So guys, what't the last essay you wrote? Was it easy? Was it like *HATEHATE*?!

The one I should be doing is:
Judging from the passages you have read, to what extent do you think Juvenal's dislike of Cornelia, mother of the Gracchi, was typical of Romans? Give reasons for your views.

Easymode on. But...

...oh how I love Classical Civilisation...

Mt last one was for Greek Civ, don't remember much on the topic though. I do remember the one I aced at the beginning of the semester, it dealt with some Sparta vs. Athens comparison of sorts.

Last quarter, for my Shakespeare II class, I had to write an essay on Measure for Measure, and I talked about how both the Duke and Antonio were both inept on how they dealt with power, if I remember correctly. I love writing essays, and I'm pretty good at them. I wrote that at eight pages the night before it was due.

A paper focused on the development of pedagogical relationships between students and teachers.

Yes, I'm in school to become a teacher.

Yes, I realize that makes me the sworn enemy of 90% of this board. :p

Leaving Cert English June 2010 - I think it was something about the evil and good characters in King Lear, can't remember too well TBH

Thank goodness I'm doing science now, I despise literature essays, and actually having to discuss literature in any way.

Students will be required to write and submit one term paper, approximately six typewritten, double-spaced pages in length. Papers that significantly fail to meet this length, as well as those that notably exceed it, will be penalized accordingly.
The paper must offer a critical assessment of one of the theories of justice/punishment examined for the Course. The assessment should briefly describe the fundamental characteristics of the approach in question, offer examples of policies/legislation/programs that (seemingly) adopt such an approach, and then comment upon some of the benefits and disadvantages of that approach.
My essay was on retributive justice. It was terribly boring to research, but not as boring as the lecture was. It was pure punishment to sit there for an hour and a half. :( But at least I got a good mark. :)

Well, if you don't count all the physics stuff I've been doing (along with my bachelor thesis) the last essay I had to write was in political science - a minor subject of mine.

That thing was titled:
"The Power of the Powerless: Influence of Non-Governmental Organizations and the Agenda-setting Process on the issue of Conflict Diamonds"

My last essay title was 'Outline and explain Crime and deviance by using at least two theoretical approaches discussed in the module'. it was pretty easy although the essay before that was based on my own research so was quite hard.
