When i say complete i mean the main story . Basically what is the last game that you didn't finish ? Be it due to difficulty, or just getting bored or whatever reason .

For me it's Two worlds 2. I spent about 20 hours on the first chapter, got to the second one and just got bored. The story just completly failed to draw me in . Add to the fact that it was a buggy mess, i just completly lost interest.

Since 2010, i had decided that once i started a game that i was going to finish it ( to reduce my backlog ) and this is the first game since then that i failed to see to the end. Two worlds 2 for me is just unplayable. Seriously i tip my hat to anyone who was able to finish that game without hanging themselves.

Your Turn.

Devil May Cry 2. I love it for what it brought to the series but good ideas need to have good game design to go with it. Plus for every good idea I could name another bad idea to go with it.

I just couldn't play anymore Catherine. I was trying to do all the levels on Hard Mode. Got to the levels where it starts to get random and I just couldn't take anymore.

Megaman X7. I'm a completist and I believe in finishing what I started, but at some point I had to ask myself, "Why am I playing this game if I'm not having any fun?"

Unable to answer that question, I put it in the back of my game shelf and ignored it because there's no way a trade-in place would offer me one whole dollar for it.

the third prince of persia for the PS2, there is this part were you go in a huge descending room and your loosing health as you go. you have

exactly enough to get to the bottom and you cant get hurt by the enemies because then you don't have enough health to reach the ending, and you need to go really quickly without falling and you need incredible timing to get past spinning blade saws going up and down. i just went insane after a 3 hours of not succeeding and gave up. but thats last time i "failed" ,last time i stoped playing is kingdoms of amule,r it was just so boring and repetitive i got sick of it pretty quickly.

Stalker Clear Sky. Finally got to the point where I had a decent weapon and plenty of supplies...then ran into all the bullet sponge zombies and bloodsuckers; ended up stranded with no supplies and no idea where to go.

Summon Night: Twin Age for the DS. The game was actually really easy at first... and then, BAM! Boss beat the living crap out of me. Multiple times.

Superbrothers Sword & Sworcery EP.

I'm not one for point and clicks, or moaning about games I got pretty cheaply because of a bundle but wow, that game was terrible. When I stopped playing and it said 50% complete I had to quit as I didn't want to play that for half the time I already had.

Played Gemini Rue instead, excellent game with a great ending.

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I finished the first act, got to the other continent and met the Court of Sorrows...and now I just can't muster up the interest to finish it.

Finished as in got all the trophies, or finished as in, beat the game?

If it's the first one, I'm saying Red Dead Redemption. Maybe I'll go back and get the platinum some day, but some of those DLC multiplayer trophies...ugh.

As for just didn't beat, it was Bayonetta. The game was fun, but as soon as I had to fight those flying space trains using long range combat, I quit. That part broke the game for me and no matter what I tried, I couldn't get past them. So I did something I rarely do: traded the game in for something else.

Skyrim.

Bethesda games are like sleeping pills to me. Big boring empty worlds with horrible boring combat. No thank you.

I hate to say it, but Witcher 2. I didn't even finish chapter 1. I can't really explain why; the game is very good in most regards but it just fails to keep my interest. The same thing happened with Witcher 1, though at least I got up to chapter 3 in that one.

Well, that's a rather negative way to look at it. The answer is none.

A lot of games actually...

The Witcher 2 (I know the game is amazing and if I could get into it I would love it...I just can't....)
Mass Effect 2
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
Red Dead Redemption (although I plan on going back to this one when I have the time)

Final Fantasy XII. Lackluster story, combat designed to be as un-interactive as possible, a couple good VAs but mostly bad ones, shitty item/license board system. I got about halfway through and asked myself "what the fuck am I doing? This game is awful."

Never did that for any Final Fantasy until XII. Didn't touch 13, but I've heard it's more of the same. Damn shame, square enix ruining one of the better RPG franchises :/

For me
Witcher 2 same as the rest just can't get into it properly and that's not from a lack of trying.
I've heard the story and they say how good a story it has but i really just can't get through the boring combat.

a list of other games i couldn't complete
Battlefield 3 absolutely loved the multiplayer but the single player is just terrible
MW3 after playing Cod 4 in several instalments just got bored of playing the same game over and over just terrible.
Arma 2 haven't even started the game I just play dayz
Dragon Age origins haven't really tried to get into it.
I guess you could say ME3 due to the extended cut just watched that on youtube just can't play that game again.

The Last Remnant. Annoying protagonist, randomly generated battle commands, bullshit AI.. maybe one of these days I'll go back to it when I'm feeling masochistic.

most everything else is in my 'to be played' pile and was only put down because I'd only started playing it to make sure it worked
