I'll admit it: I'm just now starting to see some of this summer's blockbusters 'cause they're finally trickling down to the $1 theater. Ya, I'm too cheap to fork over $20 for my wife and I to see a movie when we can wait two months and see it for $2, but can you blame me?

What I've seen so far:

X-Men: First Class: 8/10

POTC: On Stranger Tides: 4/10

Up next is Green Lantern. What's been your favorite so far?

Best so far would be "Rise of the Planet of the Apes". A great movie, I recommend it to all.

X-men- 8/10
Hangover 2 5/10
Harry Potter- 9/10

Yeah I really liked Harry Potter, it was the first 3d movie where I thought the 3d was cool and implemented well.

Next I want to go see Fright Night, damn my sick fascination with Twilight, its hard to find someone willing to see a vampire movie with me.

X-men first class, was absolutely awesome.

Harry Potter wasn't too bad either, but I preferred it when I read it.

I agree. That was a fantastic movie in my opinion.

I'd also recommend seeing Captain America and X-Men First Class.

I'm considering giving it to Harry Potter, mostly because it was one of few movies I've actually seen recently. Also because it was just a really, REALLY good movie. Well worth the build up of the last ten years.

I'm tempted to give it to 'Rise of the Planet of the Apes' though. For what I thought was a stupid idea at first, actually seeing it, was brilliant. The focus on the monkey as the emotional hero (despite the impression the title gives) was brilliantly paced and well scripted.

Also, both movies have Malfoy in them.

*realises the only films she's seen this summer is X-Men: First Class*

That's depressing, I guess I have to pick that then even though I didn't actually enjoy it all that much.

First Class, Captain America, or Harry Potter, probably. Haven't seen Rise of the Planet of the Apes yet, though.

Meh films: Pirates, Transformers. Probably Cowboys and Aliens when I see that today or tomorrow.

Wow, I've been to the cinema a lot this summer.

Captain America, X-men: First Class, Thor, Harry Potter and Rise of the Planet of the Apes

All were awesome films that if you can still see in cinema I would recommend. Films I wouldn't recommend include; Green Lantern, The Hangover 2 and Cowboys Vs Aliens

I'm also gonna have to go with "Rise of the Planet of the Apes"

The part where Caesar finally spoke and yelled "NO!" made me practically jizz myself

Green Lantern: 3/10
X-Men First Class: 8/10
Harry Potter 7 part 2: 8/10
Attack the Block: 9/10
Captain America: 7.5/10
30 Minutes or Less: 8/10

And I'd still like to see Bridesmaids and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Whoops! I forgot to add Transformers to the list. I forked over $27 for the 3D, IMAX showing of that turd. First movie I've payed full price for in a long time. That series is played out, they need to hang it up.

I'd have to say that 30 Minutes or Less was my favorite, with Transformers and Conan coming in at a close second. And those are the only movies I've seen in the theaters this summer.
