My first badge was "make yourself at home" for creating a profile. :B

EDIT: I went straight from the first post, btw, didn't check any responses. Taking into account the ignorance of said badge, it'd be "Face with a name" for my avatar.

The first badge that everyone got was the 'Make Yourself At Home' badge.

The first badge I got was name with a face, the make yourself at home badege didn't come untill after I got that one.

Actually, no, that's not what it's for. It's for adding details to the user profile (name, location, bio, interests etc.), not signing up. This is why [user]Therumancer[/user] doesn't have it in his list of badges [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/profiles/badges/Therumancer]. It just gets mixed up because it is usually the first badge people get due to how easy it is, and people think creating a user profile is the same as creating a user. I think the editors actually wanted it to mean editing your profile, they just didn't phrase it too well.

As for me, either Make Yourself At Home (read above) or Face With A Name (add an avatar). Which one came first I don't know since I added both my details and my avatar on the same night and I can't remember which PM was listed as first. Since those two are (with the exception of content badges nowadays) the easiest badges to get, those will be frequently listed on this thread, especially as a lot of users joined before the content badges.

My first badge was actually the "pixel burglar" badge, because I didn't know what an user profile was until 5 days of being a member, I'm still not 100% sure actually.

True, I tend to forget that. I added my details, then added a avatar, so I think that they came in that order.

Unfortunately, it seems I deleted all my PMs before mid-April and I added my details and avatar on my join date at the end of March, so I can't check when I got the badges. They probably arrived at the same time anyway, as that's how the system usually hands them out. Though I may have added my original avatar first.
