What will you be after the Apocalypse?

I know "Apocalypse" isn't the right word for it, since it comes from Greek and means something like "Revelation", but for lack of a better word and to make the topic title be recognisable I used it anyway.

So on to the premise.
The world has "ended", probably killing about 95% of humanity, ruining the infrastructure and so on and so on, we all know it. We'll assume you survive due to some fortune or other (because being dead doesn't sound very interesting, unless it's a zombie apocalypse, but we'll assume this wasn't one) so what kind of generic stereotype would you be after the whole thing?

1. The morally deprived madman
This is usually the badguy idea, and could mean you were one of several things before the "end of the world" happened.
A prisoner who survived due to the prison that has been build to keep them in also protected them from the thing that killed the majority of the people outside and wanted to keep on doing the things they did before they became prisoners.
An XBL douchebag that thinks, due to the Internet no longer existing, that shooting people and Teabagging their corpses would be the closest approximation of playing a game.
Or a rightwinged extremist that's several braincells short of being slightly dumber than Sarah Palin.
Many possibilities here, if you want, think up more, but this would accurately describe the idea.

2. The Vigilante
Usually either someone that has been severally wronged by Group 1 or wants to do something about Group 1 before they severally wrong someone.
Usually a cop with a somewhat morally flexible fibre or someone that has read a few too many Punisher comics or something along those lines.

3. The Survivalist
This is usually the group that either want to do a live-action version of FallOut of were the people that build bunkers in the Cold War.
Usually emerging about 10 years after the "end of the world" happened due to: Running out of cans of baked beans, discovering that the genetic variety wasn't large enough, the waterchip failing, or being completely fed up with all the other people that were in that bunker.

4. The Scavenger
A guy that wants nothing to do with Group 1 or 2. Who wants to simply survive and make the best out of it without getting into anyone's way and usually looking for small trinkets to make their own life better.
Although usually hassled be Group 1 due to possibly being in possession of useful stuff, or hassled by Group 2 to fix their stuff and requesting in payment that they deal with the local Group 1.

This is about the list that I could think of, but if you think of other ones that might fit in here, please post those.

I think I would belong in Group 4, with maybe a slight inclination to insanity.
You know that crazy guy that's always fixing stuff and such.

So, what kind of person would you be?

I'd guess number four or three, depending on how easy it is to hold a group of friends.

I'll be too concerned with actually surviving than label myself in a group. Whatever it takes to survive. I guess if I had to choose, it would be Group 4, but I remain flexible.

Probably the 2nd group, with a bit of 4. I've always been a fixer of things, and I have a magpie tendancy to hoard things. But at the same time, I'm very protective (of people, not 'stuff').

...surely you would be group 3 then? If what you care about is survival.

OT: i would realistically be dead (someone had to say it), but if by some chance i WASNT i would be a group 3 civilian sort. A fallout 3 npc if you like. Not doing much, but finding a secure place (rivetcity-esque) and just living, possibly opening a store etc.

Or actually (brainwave) i would set up a civilisation. A small town, that could become a city. A place of refuge for one and all, and i mean ALL. Group 1s and 2s (so long as they behave and pay for stuff) group 3s and 4s. Hell, so long as i can make money (or the nearest equivalent) then im happy.

I'd think of my self as #3 The Survivalist or a hint of 4 (fixing stuff)

A survivalist with vigilante tendencies. Someone has to wield the spiked hammer of justice in a world without law and order, you just have to stay alive long enough to use it.

The chef.

Let's face it kids if dinner is going to be pork'n'beans, various cacti and a raider's spleen, you're going to want someone who can render it edible. my profession shall be around for a long long time. Everyone needs to eat afterall.

Probably 4, since I wouldn't trust any human being to have any sense left in them.
But then again, I'd be likely to get myself killed in a couple of days at most.

I'll probably be a dragon, but I'm basing it on Shadowrun's "Awakening".
Sadly, I probably won't be the one who gets to own a majority share in Saeder-Kruppe'.

I'd be in group 5, people who think humanity is a plague apon the earth and actively works to eradicate it. I would find others who feel similar or just are easily led and homicidal in nature and carefully work at wiping out the last 5% of humanity (or at least ensuring they do not procreate).

More then likely I would attempt to find a biological weapons plant eventually and raid it for a virus that will sterilize the rest of humanity. I would then be happy and probably just kick back and play video games while the world healed and slowly forgot about humans.

I like to think I'd be a scavenger, but in all likelihood, I'd be group 6.
Dead.
Since I'm a diabetic, and have no real mechanical skills, I'm fairly certain that after a short decent run of scavenging random shit, I'd probably either get myself killed to avoid dying painfully and annoyingly over however many days it would take for me to waste away, OR I'd do just that after failing to get myself killed in a satisfactory manner.
