No One Knows by Queens of the Stone Age. Because the bass part is bad ass.
Or Little Girl by Death From Above 1979. Even more bad ass bass.

I want to see something like Symphony Orchestra Hero. Last minute or so [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OqJK_s7I9EY] (fast-forward to 6:56) of the overture from Die Fledermaus by Strauss, as conducted by Carlos Kleiber. Dragonforce has nothing on Johann.

Or Shostakovich. [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ogJFXqYEYd8] If you think you don't like classical music, start here. This stuff is heavy metal with horns and violins.

Oh, I like me some classical. Before I moved out of the Cincinnati area, my radio was nearly stuck on a classical music station (intentional, of course). Since Dayton, Ohio is too far north, I can't get the station anymore. Oh well. Thank goodness for internet radio.

[small]I am currently listening to Night on Bald Mountain, by the way...[/small]

I had no doubt as to your classical chops (you spelled Tchaikovsky right!) The "start here" was more for the uncultured reading the thread. Shostakovich was my music appreciation professor's (yay fine arts requirements!) favorite composer, and Strauss has been mine ever since I saw "Johann Mouse" [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r0CvAwvOcRA] as a child. A cat that could play? A mouse that could dance? Still my all-time favorite cartoon.

"Scarified" by Paul Gilbert just because it'd show people why Herman Li is easily outclassed to fucking hell, not just by Paul.
"Battery" by Metallica
"Rock n Roll Chainsaw" by Maximum The Hormone for teh lulz
"Black Dog" by Led Zeppelin
"1983...(A Merman I Should Turn To Be)" by Hendrix, probably a shortened version that doesn't include all the silence and ambience parts, but just the awesomeness
"Run To The Hills" by Iron Maiden
"As I Am" by Dream Theater, another pwner of Herman Li :D
"Es Wird Schlimmer" by Die Apokalyptischen Reiter or "The apocalypse horseman"

Anything by AC/DC. Seriously, where the fuck are all the AC/DC songs? And don't you tell me they're on bloody Rock Band, because they should be on both.
