So basically, I'm young and bored and have decided that i'm going to attempt to set up a local business (Nothing fancy, as of yet). I have all the knowledge and backing to help me set up this business however I have one small problem, I have no product idea's.

So i'm calling for any Escapist's if they have any ideas on what i could do, or simply what would you like from a local business?

I'm just looking for ANY ideas at the moment.

Games... where I live, there are only two stores that sell PS1 and older games and both of them are 20 minutes away. I would like a store that sells all kinds of games and consoles because it's nearly impossible to find a Super Nintendo or games for it. Maybe it's just where I live, but these stores are pretty hard to find and when I can find them, I can hardly find games.

Or a book store that carries all books in a series, not just 1, 2, 3, and 5 of Scott Pilgrim because you can't just skip to 5 like that...

Lemonade and drugs.

On a more serious note air guitars.

On an even more serious note good shoes.

Anime figures. The only store that sell them where I live haven't got a very wide selection because they're expensive and risky to take in I guess.

This... posters too. I always have to order cool posters online. It's a pain in the ass.

Lego!

All the nearby retail stores are always sold out, and the nearest Lego store is 60 miles away.

Music! There aren't enough music stores where I live! Music is the one thing that I prefer in physical form.

Uurgh.. I want to buy figures to pretty up my room and support the animes I like, but I am scared of buying things online. It is bothersome. I should definitely overcome that fear.

Yeah, it's all about figuring out which people online you can trust. Fortunately, the best cites offer reviews of sellers so you can get a good sense for which ones might try to rip you off. I know I've bought more than a couple figures off eBay over the years, and I definately wouldn't have done that if it weren't for the reviews that buyers post on them.

Or you could just convince the OP to move to your town and open up his anime figures shop. Or he could move to my town, and open up his figures/poster shop. Which would be 100% pure awesome. I would keep you in business OP!

Yes, that, and I have a hard time navigating the online stores. I can't really tell for sure what is what. It's all a big mess.
