What you wish would happen

In gaming. I want to hear your dream, you know, maybe you want to see two different characters that will never be in a game together doing just that, or a company merger that you think will only bring joy and happiness to all the good little boy and girls. Fuck, even if all you want is for no-one to massively rip people off on Kickstarter.

For me, I want to see old school point and click adventure games coming out on the DS or 3DS. Beneath a Steel Sky, mainly because it's the only one I've recently played, but many others as well. I know that licensing and the like would be very large issues, but fuck it, it's my fantasy.

I just want to see cell-shading used more in the industry. It's an art style I absolutely adore yet it seems to get passed over fore more "realistic" and "gritty" styles.

I'm going to wish for game technology to become more powerful & cheap, and for the majority of games to be hand-crafted by people who love what they do, not soulless companies.

I'd also like to see something as immersive as Assassin's Creed/GTA, but far more immersive, so that it actually teaches you a great deal of history. If they just released their game engines & assets I'm sure fans would make it ;_;

Take all the FFVII characters and make a game with them like Persona 4 Arena then I will be happy also I wish they would release Persona 4 Arena in the UK and they bring the next Valkyria Chronicles back to the PS3 which will be released worldwide, oh also that Darkstalkers 4 is in production and will be everywhere soon.

I also wish that all games and consoles were free and development kits were so advanced that any one could make any game they could imagine easily. Also its about time we had a proper holodeck.

I also wish that the next Super Smash Bros had blood and gore. I mean, its awesome that Peach can whack Picachu with a golf club, but how much more awesome it be if, instead of just knocking him back, the golf club decapitated him.

I want to see the death of ports . Have PC exclusive and Console Exclusive games . Games that come out for one platform or the other . No more games that can play on both . That way i wouldn't have to hear PC gamers complain all the time that consoles are holding them back . Have developpers that makes games either soley on PC or soley on consoles . It's apparent that we can't get along so let's stop trying and seperate the two.

That games fun for a while but it isn't very good as far as fighting games go. Every match turns into "wait for my opponent to attack and then block and counter or dodge and counter". The attacking player is almost always at a disadvantage and the gameplay itself is very slow.

You found that slow? I found itto be like dragon ball on crack . Especially when you start fightin guys at level 150 . Honestly , if they made that game on console and added online i would play the hell out of it . My favorite character was gabranth . Anyways a "proper" FF fightin fame would be cool , but knowig the current square , it would be all flash , smoke and mirrors .

Have done and really liked Duodecim (not so much Dissidia) but its not the same Dissidia is its own thing, I would like a purer fighting game featuring the cast of FFVII like they have done with Persona 4 Arena. They would have to outsource it though to someone who knows how to make fighting games i.e Arc systems, SNK or Capcom are the only ones that come to mind. A game like Duodecim on consoles expanded to take advantage of the extra power and online would also be nice I really liked the scenario creator in Duodecim and would love to see that taken further but id much rather see a proper 2d or failing that 3d FFVII fighting game.

I wish people would just shut up when a game moves away form something they like. Ever used the phrase "True fans" if so shut up. If a game moves away form what you like it doesn't make it crap it doesn't make it worse then the original, It makes it different. And if you don't like it being different just don't play it.
