I saw this in the description of the of-topic forum and thought "i wonder if anyone has actually asked that." Although i will probably never make any of the drinks but I'm sure someone might.

Clean water + ice cubes.

Probably not the kind of drink you were hoping for, but it always does fine by me. ;)

BONUS:

Milk + chocolate milk mix or chocolate syrup. Yum.

Screwdriver.

Vodka + orange juice.

Simple, smooth, and you can slam 'em down like they're icy cold juice shots while still getting hammered.

For added excitement, add a twist of tequila. In my experience, though, that usually ends with you cradling your head in your arms, wondering why you're in an airport bathroom.

lovely
It's a Jack and Coke. Not a Jack and Pepsi. Heresy.

Limoncello is a criminally underrated mixer, it's perfect for summer time. Throw it in whatever or make some fancy lemon based drink out of it.

Pepsi Max is the only cola that can calm the fireball jawbreaker, normal coke don't cut it

Cold Milk + 2 TBPS of Strawberry Nesquick.

And if you're feeling extremely horny, pour in some coconut rum.

I like beer, with beer. Or wine with wine. You get the general idea.

Well, okay. I just improvise with booze and lovely juice. Perhaps throw some flavoured mineral water and a bit of energy drink there as well. But those are rare occasions. More rarely, if never, ending to be the same mix. Incidentally that reminds the way I usually cook.

I simply don't care for mixed drinks generally. Especially if it's something with precise quantities and very certain ingredients... Just can't be bothered.

For a pirate-themed party, I bought random liqueurs and came up with the following:
In a hurricane glass, pour:
1 shot good golden rum
1 shot cherry brandy
1 shot banana liqueur
fill with pinapple juice

For a friends 30th, I got dickish and came up with the following:
Go to liquor store.
Find the highest proof bottle you can afford from 4 different sections (vodka, rye, rum, tequila, whatever). No blending of genres, if you get a rye, don't get a scotch or blended whiskey as well.
Mix them in half-shots into one double.
Feed a "Four Horsemen" to whoever you want to see regret the evening.

This drink is delicious.. but deadly, too much of this and you WILL do something stupid, trust me on that.
(Spelling might be off and I can't be bothered to punctuate fully, as i'm going to type it down at the speed of light)
1) rum/bacardi
2) a banana
3)standard size bottle of G2 gatorade, any flavour, lime works quite good though
4) diet dr pepper

place the can of dr pepper and the gatorade in the freezer, leave them for 3 hours, less than that and they probably wont be slushy enough, at this point you might as well have a sip of rum, just because.
after 3 hours retrieve the can and the gatorade, pour slush into the blender, mix, add the two bananas, put it all back in the freezer for an hour, take it out, it does not taste anything like rum, this makes you feel like you can drink it fast, but trust me, you do NOT want to drink it fast.. maybe some lady friends might though ;) you dirty fkn pervert :)

My personal favorite is the mojito

- 1 1/2 oz light rum
- 1 tbs superfine sugar
- Lime wedges
- Club soda
- Mint sprigs

Muddle mint leaves, superfine sugar and lime in a mixing glass. Add 1 1/2 oz light rum and ice in a cocktail shaker and shake. Strain the mixture into a tall glass and top with club soda. Garnish with fresh mint sprig. A pain to make (especially drunk) but worth it.

My favourite Mai Tai recipe:

-25ml Havana 3 year rum (that's Cuban, people in the USA could use El Dorado 3, it's not similar but it still makes a great Mai Tai)
-25ml Appleton Estate 8 year rum
-25ml Lime Juice
-12.5ml Orgeat (almond syrup)
-12.5ml Orange Curacao

Shake well, serve over cubed ice, garnish with a mint sprig. That, my friends, is summer in a glass, even when it's bitching cold outside.
