Could be from work, school, personal experience, anything. What's that one interesting tidbit or slightly amusing personal realization you've made in the last half of a year?

Personally, I realized that evil geniuses hellbent on world domination are some damn serious bookworms.

I've learned how to manually send myself into a depressed state.

Interesting enough, but now I just gotta work on achieving the opposite effect...

No matter how much affection you show her, or how much she shows you back, some ***** is going to drop you like you didn't mean a damn thing.

And you'll be okay.

Sorry to hear that dude. Ouch.

I've learnt that you need to find your own happiness before being happy with anyone else

Damn dude. That sounds horrible.

I learned I wasn't as bad a person as I thought I was.

Learnt about Milgrams study on obedience in Psychology which has been a very interesting eye opener. The results are also a little creepy.

I learned that my severe social anxiety does not mix well with Halloween events and scare houses (Universal studios Halloween Horror nights in Orlando FL), I went one night free (emplyees night; a friend works there) since I had never been to a scare house or any Halloween event before just to try it, not for me.

You weren't passed the physical stage yet? :/

OT: I've learned too many things. I'll just put "I've learned how to do a cognitive interview".

Cheese is MUCH more expensive in the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan than in Ontario. Trust me on this one!

I learned that you can't force change upon people. You also can't force help upon them, even if it would improve their life.

I learnt how memory works in a Biology lesson, just last week in fact.
When you learn something, two brain cells link together. Unless damaged, that link never breaks; you never forget anything.
Every time you relearn or revise that thing, the bond grows stronger and stronger, hence why you remember it better.
If you talk about whatever that thing was you learned, that link goes to some oral receptor thingy, making the bond even stronger, making you remember it better still.
That was a really vague explanation. Sorry about that.
I have a feeling it's not even true, it's just a ploy to get us to revise. Interesting to me, either way.

I have learnt that perhaps there are reasons why girls don't enjoy talking to me.
And that the people who are prepared to forgive those reasons are true friends.

I also learned that Watchmen is amazing.

College courses will rape the shit out of you, namely in computer science or Calculus.
That and a peeling away of the hype college gets. It's just school with more freedom and a different set of difficulties (which often keep you from having time to use that freedom).
Oh well.
