as some one made a whats the worst song ever thread i figured it should be countered with a best song ever thread.

but as best song ever threads have been done about 55 billion n three times before i'll limit it to new (ish) songs basically limited to this year (there's enough to choose from)

anyhoo here's my nominee ( did i spell that right?)

In the last month? "Fire," by Autumn Hill. Heard it on the County music station at work. Really liking it.

Oh, and you spelled "nominee" correctly.

Well, time to browse the youtube favourites.

These dudes are pretty cool, swanky and some nice dancing too.

Recent discovery of Sage Francis has made me kinda love this as well

Of course you gotta be Smooth at all times...

And obligatory me being a terrible person.

To me that has been the Pacific Rim theme tune and Rooster Teeth RWBY songs played in their four trailers and also their intro-

Seriously I even bought the film soundtrack and those five songs which I never buy download songs before until recently (in saying so I had £2 off discount from buying other media related stuff)!

They weren't around then. Their first album comes out in September, I think.

This beauty my friend showed me over the summer. We have named the genre as post poetcore, you did not misread that. These guys consider themselves poets.

For the best experience listen to this as part of the Blue Smoke / Do Me A Favor / The Conflagration "Holy Trilogy"

Actually scrap that...the entire album is 100% killer!

Definitely "Copy Of A" by Nine Inch Nails.

Going by this and "Came Back Haunted", Hesitation Marks looks like it's going to be rather awesome :D

I've been on a huge Seikima II kick for the last few months now. If you want a great example of Japanese Metal (from about the...80's I think...it's late) here's an awesome freaking song:

What's that? You can't understand Japanese and don't want to listen to this song because of that? Alright fine, here's the English-Language version of that same song:

These are songs by this band that I absolutely love...well this is a song by this band...I was either going to post this or House of Wax (which also has an English Language version). The lead singer of this band however did another song at some point in the past that I've listened too a few times over after finding out about it last night:

LoL.

Mirror Mirror by Jeff Williams

But more recently than that I got really into Chicago (The Musical, not the band, but the band is still fucking awesome)
