For me it'd be the time I was at work exactly 2 years ago. It was a usual day at work, but then suddenly a crowd massed around a big-ass machine (I lack the knowledge to name it in english), so I ran over to see what's going on- I see a bloody man under the little space of the machine, in a small pool of blood. I crawled under the machine and yelled for another man to help me pull him out. I got help and we got him out of there. Then I put him in the shock position, because he was definitely in shock. He had gotten minor head trauma and severe shoulder injuries, I applied pressure on the shoulder wound since there wasn't anything else to do (nothing else came to mind at that time), a few minutes later the paramedics arrived and took him away. He was released some time later from the hospital, but I don't know any more because I wasn't actually friends with the guy. What was pissing me off during the event was that old hags, standing in the crowd are speaking on their phones, spreading the news whilst yelling: ''Someone call the paramedics!''. Made me feel like kicking them in the gut.
Overall for me it's the best thing I've done for anybody and i discovered something new about myself that day.
So, escapists, tell me your story? What's the best thing you've done for yourself or anyone else in your life?
