For me it'd be the time I was at work exactly 2 years ago. It was a usual day at work, but then suddenly a crowd massed around a big-ass machine (I lack the knowledge to name it in english), so I ran over to see what's going on- I see a bloody man under the little space of the machine, in a small pool of blood. I crawled under the machine and yelled for another man to help me pull him out. I got help and we got him out of there. Then I put him in the shock position, because he was definitely in shock. He had gotten minor head trauma and severe shoulder injuries, I applied pressure on the shoulder wound since there wasn't anything else to do (nothing else came to mind at that time), a few minutes later the paramedics arrived and took him away. He was released some time later from the hospital, but I don't know any more because I wasn't actually friends with the guy. What was pissing me off during the event was that old hags, standing in the crowd are speaking on their phones, spreading the news whilst yelling: ''Someone call the paramedics!''. Made me feel like kicking them in the gut.
Overall for me it's the best thing I've done for anybody and i discovered something new about myself that day.

So, escapists, tell me your story? What's the best thing you've done for yourself or anyone else in your life?

Er... Um... I don't do to many good things, really. Never something as dramatic as that.

I don't have the memory to recall good things from long ago.

But I did get out of my car to rush an armadillo across the street instead of hitting it tonight. Feeling pretty awesome about that.

I saved a little boy from the clutches of an evil killer who was drowning his victims in rain water. I then got into an epic fight with the killer on a conveyor belt that was leading to a giant trash grinder of some kind. He slipped when I threw a shoe or something at him and almost fell in, so being the good person I am I helped him up, only for him to try to kill me some more, before he fell into the trash grinder and I became a national hero!!!

Really though, I took my little cousin to a Padres game (baseball team for those that didn't know). At least that's what I can remember at the moment.

I regularly stop working on my own projects to edit my friend's work. And you know what I get for it? Jack shit.

And it feels horrible.

I'm going to go cry now. Thanks OP. :[

Read 1,800 manga books. If we're talking a single thing, reading the entire Journey to the West.
