1990, baby. I can't believe how well this game has held up; for those who don't know, this game makes Demon's Souls look like a walk in the park. It's probably that difficulty mixed with all the random traps/treasures/weirdness that has kept it so fresh for me.

What about you?

The oldest game I play frequently is probably TF2 or CS:S.

Though now that the SC2 beta is going away... it will probably be SC1.

Warcraft 3 (Reign of Chaos and Frozen Throne) I think I started playing that in 2002 and still play it regularly. It's not the oldest game but 8 years is half of my life which makes it sound a lot older than it is.

Gunstar Heroes.

Of course, I played the 360 arcade port. But it's still a Genesis game, right?

Every now and again I go back to Diablo 2 for a good while. I always want to play Warcraft 2, but whenever I get it installed, I can't seem to be able to play it.

Lyklat Wars (Starfox 64) 1997

Mainly because no one has managed a better rail shooter yet, not even subsequent Starfox games are as good, although the openin level of Assault was great, a whole game of that please...

Regular would have to be my Gameboy Tetris, from time to time is MArio/Duck Hunt.
I barely remember anything before my fourth birthday, but I remember coming across a Game Boy with Tetris on it when I was about three.

I've been hooked since.

X-Com, 1995. At least once a year I go through a game. With the exception of the ancient UI and graphics, it is still better than most modern games.

I think I found it in about 2004.

Though of course it isn't for everyone, the combat is turned based and there is a base management portion of the game.

Well, I stopped playing it for a while since I have too many other things to play, but I never completely stopped playing(found a version working on Windows Mobile).
