I'm talking about tales, fables, and adventure books specifically. Not any of the "How The Empire Was Formed" or "Guide To Windhelm".

So, feel free to share. My personal favorite is "The Cabin in The Woods" and "The Thief of Virtue"

Correction, Elderscrolls Books, most of the books were in Oblivion, many Morrowind and some even back as far as Daggerfall.

I'm partial to the Real Barenziah, Chance's Folly, and the Beggar-Thief-Warrior-King series.

Actually my absolute favourite is the Horror of Castle Xyr.:
We're loyal Imperial subjects.
As, I hear, are all Telvanni

Theres one book where sheogorath and hircine agree to have two champions fight. I cant rember the name of it.

Hircine brings a werewolf daedroth monster thing. Sheogorath brings a little songbird. The song bird manages to make the daedroth thing kill itself. I like it.

I love the story of the Wolf Queen. She's just so amazingly evil!

Probably Feyfolken, The Locked Room and Horror at Castle Xyr.

I enjoy reading the books tbh my friend jokes that my character sits cross legged, in stealth and in the middle of dangerous dungeons while reading.

Definately the Wolf Queen books, I'm trying to collect all of them but I have so many strewn about so many different holds that I forget where they all are. Plus, volume 6 is a quest item apparently, so I can't shelf it.V_V

Yes, what else should we do with them? Eat them?

I'm very partial towards Myths of Sheogorath, and all his lovely antics upon the fools who try to scam the Madgod.

"The Lusty Argonian Maid."

That book is just so funny...and oddly sexy. My female Argonian character has a copy, which she guards with her life.

I really enjoyed two - But can't remember the names.
One was about the Guards investigating a manor because they thought the owner was a necromancer, but it turns out the maid was his WIFE and SHE was the necromancer and KILLS THEM!
Seriously, it's actually pretty awesome.

And the second was about 3 thieves who rob a mansion when it's full of everyone's cash, and one of them teaches the other two how to kill (Because he's the murderer of the group, the others are the security expert and a sneaky-person). But he steals the gold and rides off back to his own mansion in another city, but somehow the other two find him and kill him.
Again, I'm not doing it justice - I just woke up.

My favourite: A Hypothetical Treachery

(can be read here: http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:A_Hypothetical_Treachery )

I love that book and have read it in Morrowind, Oblivion and now Skyrim.

The Mirror is pretty good too
