So, it's 2 am, you're super hungry, whichever food you want will be delivered to you within a minute, what do you decide to get?

I, for one, would get burritos, extra guac, extra cheese, beef, salad, corn, and beans.

So, what is your 2 am food?

Eh, I'm not much into anything fancy or whatever - burger with chips for me. Maybe also onion rings.

Well, it's 2:35 here and I just ate some baklava. I usually don't eat this late but there you go.

realistically, maybe something like cheese and Pepperami. if anything's on the table I'd go for microwave noodles w/curry powder, though drained with a bit of grated cheese in it.

Potatoes. If its that late and I'm that hungry, I'm also probably tired as hell and only awake because my stomach wont shut up. Potatoes are the surest way to shut my stomach up.

Also, potatoes are delicious.

Chunky steak, bacon and cheese pies were a good reason for a study break back when I was in university, so that I guess. The place I used to board at was half a block away from a really nice 24 hour bakery, so even late at night you could take a quick break from assignments to take a quick walk to get some fresh air and something to munch on for afterwards.

For some reason, I've always found McDonald's appealing for a late-night meal. Must have something to do with how many nights I would have to skip supper during work (so I was hungry for anything) only to get off at a time when McDonald's was the only place open.

As the OP says, anything is possible so I'll take Pizza.

In reality? Frequently A&W as an alternative to McDonalds because I'm so tired of the golden arches wrecking my guts.

On campus, it's Taco Bell. When I'm at home or too lazy to leave the house, a frozen dinner or Kraft shells.

A cookie from the jar.

Yeah I know, not very original.
You're super hungry, so depending on the size of the cookie you might need more than one.

If I'm going to bed right away, I'll have cereal. If I'm staying up for quite a while more then probably pizza.

If there's any pizza I ordered at some point left I'll take a slice of that. If not, toast and butter.

For me if Im at home its either leftovers if they're there, or biscuits with ham cheese and mango chilli sauce.

Although if im out drinking I live in walking distance and theres a maccas on the way home. So that. Way more often that I should.

Beans on toast always used to taste like culinary excellence at 2:00am after an evening of drinking and revelry, despite tasting cheap and nasty most of the rest of the time. Kebab falls into the same category, as does the Aussie special Meat Pie floater. Someone needs to open a restaurant / take-away that serves only 2:00am foods from around the world. It's always 2:00am somewhere so it should make a killing! ;o)

Peanutbutter fudge cookies, or fig newtons if I wanna be healthy. On the rare occasion that I have pizza, that's always a third option, whether it be Di Jorno's or a leftover pie from the local, award-winning pizza joint.

Realistically, I'd drive to the 24 hour taco joint and get a chimichanga or to McDonald's and get some nuggs. Ideally I'd get a chicago deep dish pizza and maybe some wings.
