Mine is Garzey's Wing, simply because it's BAD! XD

Eh, Higurashi no Naku Koro ni (Specifically Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai, the second season) is my favourite animé.
Very close second is Code Geass.
Oh, why Higurashi is my favourite? Because I like it. Can't really explain why, I just do, so it just is my favourite.

Why do people always make these animation threads limited to Japanese animation?

Lovable semantics. The only reason 'anime' should be considered separate from animation is for ease of classification. No other real reason exists.

Claymore.

Nothing else has struck me quite as much as the characters and events that transpire in the world that my mind has imbued with something beyond this reality.

There is some peculiar quality about the whole thing that gets to me, I don't really know what it is, but I know it goes deeper than just the anime, and touches on concepts that were already firmly lodged in a part of my mind ever since I can remember.

Really the anime is just a trigger for my imagination, but a much loved trigger.
