What's your favorite E3 trailer?

Title says it all. Poll wouldn't really be fair with this many choices, so let's just discuss what was the best (or worst) and why.

My favorite is the Metro Last Light live action trailer. It was really good, although it probably helps that I love Metro 2033.

I was really hoping for an epic Far Cry 3 trailer, but it was a bit disapointing. The last 2 videos they released were better I thought, but I'm still looking forward to this one.

I think Watch Dogs was a pretty neat trailer, one of the few pure gameplay videos I saw. However, it didn't quite manage to catch my full attention as it seemed... I don't know... like too much hand holding. Too much power with his electronics. But maybe that was much later in the game after many unlocks?

Anyway, what are your thoughts?

I liked the Metro: Last light trailer. It was pretty cool but not my favorite.

My favorite trailer was the Halo 4 trailer. That and the gameplay video for the singleplayer completely rekindled my interest in the series and now im looking forward to Halo 4 quite a bit.

I'll say The Last of Us, just because at the end that dude screams "No, Dont!" and catches shotgun to the face. I watched that this morning and have been in a good mood all day so far.

The Last Of Us. I really like the work of both lead voice actors and this is just really quite up my alley.

For the trailer it's Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Seeing the towering Metroplex with Optimus Prime in his palm while uttering his pledge to him gave me the chill.

As for the game itself that would be The Last Of Us. It look very interesting in so many way.

I have no favorite, but if I had to pick one, Beyond Two Souls. The Ending gave me some big chills. Close second is Watchdogs.

Going just by the trailers I did see (I totally ignored the Sony conference because it was on at like 2 in the fucking morning here and really, fuck that noise) I'm actually tempted to say that the ZombiU trailer is my favourite.


Seriously, that shit is so awesome I'm still watching it. Listened to the music many, many times too.

If you include gameplay previews (I don't count them as trailers), then I have to go with Watch Dogs. That blew me away. Though Assassin's Creed 3 does look incredibly good too.

And a side-note to my least favourite trailer - Fable: The Journey.

Either Watch Dogs or The Last of Us.

Right now I'm leaning towards the Last of Us now that I'm hearing from the devs and from corroborating stories that it wasn't as scripted as I feared it might be.

Watch Dogs would top my list if my scripting fears could be laid to rest likewise.

just looked it up based on what you said, and holy shit that was pretty epic, got a few chills myself.

OT: The last of us looks pretty fucking amazing, scripted or not, so I will definitely be paying attention more to that.

Watch_Dogs was my favourite trailer, it looked gorgeous and it could be a really good new IP from Ubisoft. Sure it smatterings of GTA, but what modern day open world game doesn't?

South Park: The Stick of Truth


While the likes of Transformers and Assassins Creed were epic in their scope and ability to tug on heart-strings/inspire etc, I preferred South Park's (admittedly low brow) humour, style and ability to not take its self seriously while mocking the other trailers seriousness.

I think for me the Halo trailers because before E3 I was thinking to myself of not bothering to get them and I didn't feel any sort of hype, now I can't wait.

Aside from that the new South Park game looked great but I fear it might be too expensive for what it is.
