Now I know what you're thinking. "This is gonna be another fake out and we're gonna be talking about actual metal". NO. You're only half right, we're talking about both Metal Music and Metal elements! Why? Because nothing says worthwhile endeavor like finding a correlation between metal music and metal elements.

I have to choose Power Metal and Iron. I love power metal because its fast paced and has the energy of speed metal, but still has the power of a more traditional heavy metal sound. Along with it not being as restricted as black metal or not as....bad as thrash metal, you have an unstoppable force!

Iron is even greater in its dominance of the other elements then Power Metal is to its peers. Everything awesome we have Iron to thank. The buildings you live in, the tools you use, the cars you drive, the weapons you wield all rely on the most amazing of elements: Iron. True it has to be tempered with carbon to be the greatness that is Steel, but even without it's best friend Carbon Iron is a metal without peer!

Metalcore, prog, mathcore, and anything with completely brutal vocals and aggressive tones. I can't choose just one. I should also mention hair metal, I have a major soft spot for it, and it just has amazing videos:

I'm going to choose magnesium, because it's so awesome when you set it on fire, although iron would probably come in second as it has some really interesting uses in cofactor chemistry.

Titanium, because it isn't rejected by my body.

And heavy-metal, because of most bands in the 80's.

I like gold obviously, but aluminum is probably my favourite. It's sturdy and looks good.
EDIT: Oh I don't like the music metal, not unless you count old hard rock such as AC/DC and Motley Crue. Some do.

For Metal music...Devy Metal, anything by Devin Townsend.

As for actual metal, Mercury. Because its metal, its liquid, its poisonous and it looks really cool when it moves.

Enough with the Black Mirror stuff Captcha, I'm watching it now. God, you're like a nagging mother.

I'm a metalcore guy. That's not the only metal I listen to but it's the one I listen to most. Deathcore is a close second.

For actual metal...hmmm...Magnesium because it's fun to set on fire.

Oh, I am really disappointed. I was going to geek out about the awesome properties of silver and platinum, but I guess I should've known better.

I like fantasy metal (like Dragonforce). Sing to me about magic and swords and I will listen enraptured.

Because if that stuff touches water you get a massive explosion, nothing better than surprise detonations!

Power Metal. I love the fusion that comes from the high intensity music and the "epic" (for lack of a better word) quality of the lyrics. Take Blind Guardian or Sabaton, two of my favorite Metal bands. You get the ridiculously awesome driving force of the music, and then you also have the crisp voices wailing at the top of their lungs, just giving it everything they've got.

I dunno, I guess I'm a romantic, but I love the more optimistic and heroic aspects of metal over the grunge and apocalyptic stuff.

Tungsten, because it begins with tongue! Plus it's symbol is W if I'm not mistaken.

As for music then I guess heavy metal like Black Sabbath, but I'm game for any sub-genre as long as it sounds good.

Really, anything? How about a remix?
Listen to it. ALL of it.
OT:I'm pretty partial to Trash and Industrial, they're probably the 2 genres I've listened to the most. Well... besides nu metal. I listened to too much nu metal when I was younger, DON'T JUDGE ME!
Don't you dare say djent. You know who you are.

Al = Most abundant metal in Earth's crust FTW! It will save us all, unlike that snooty ***** titanium.

Osmium. It's the densest element known!

Oh, wait, you meant the other kind of metal. Well I suppose whatever Tarja is in then.

Blind Guardian, a German power metal band. Because, power metal!

Thats fucking awesome. Devin has used a polka influence in a lot of his music before, that just sounds so out there and Devin-ish. Its awesome, you can tell he had fun doing that remix. I recommend you listen to more Devin Townsend my man.

Iron. And heavy metal. And my favourite iron related heavy metal band is of course, Iron Maiden!

As an aside, I've noticed the name Blind Guardian come up here a couple of times now. Since they were compared to Sabaton, I'll have to look that one up.
