Name says it all.

My least favourite is JRPG.
Turn-based combat is boring and the characters dress by running full speed onto a mine in a closet full of 80's clothing.

My favourite is J-Horror.
At least Japan made up for their terrible decision.
J-Horror focuses mainly on the Mental stages and feelings of the character's, unlike Western Horror where theres some guy with a sharp thing on the end of a stick sharpening it on your hip bone.

Least favourite? Probably a toss between sports and RTS. I've been known to play 'arcade' racers like Burnout and Mario Kart

I don't really have an overwhelming favourite, but looking at my collection, it's mostly action RPGs, stuff like Mass Effect, Demon's Souls, Fallout NV etc. I do play good FPS/Fighters a lot though. Marvel vs Capcom 3 is getting a lot of play time at the moment.

Favorite: Toss up between Adventure, Platformer, and RPG...so anything that ties those together (Castlevania, for example) is a nice experience :D

Least: Umm...I guess Madden style sports games. Tried a Madden Football on the Gamecube, and I just couldn't get into it.

This always bugs me. J-RPG isn't really a genre. There are turned based W-RPGs (Knights of the Old Republic), and there are action J-RPGs (Kingdom Hearts). There are J-RPGs that give you pleanty of choices (Pokemon), and there are W-RPGs that aren't that heavy on the choices (Fable).

The big difference isn't gameplay; it's how much the main character is defined before you play. W-RPGs, in general, lean towards blank slate, and J-RPGs, in general, give you a pre-defined character in order to better work him or her into the story...and even that much isn't true all the time.

Least favorite is no doubt sport, the only one I've ever played and enjoyed being madden

My favourite genre is probably TBS, a seemingly dying one :(

Favorite would be Action/Platformer/Beat 'em ups (Yes, that is a genre for me, it fits anywhere from SMB to God of War and everything in between)

Least favorite/most hated is anything in 1st Person.

My least favorite would be sports.

Favorite is either RTS or Turn-Based strategy. I am not any good at them. I just like to play them. A close runner-up would be management games like Evil Genius.

Least-JRPG, I've never liked one.

Favorite-Sandbox games. Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Saints Row, GTA, Red Dead. I love games that I never get bored of.

Favorite: J/RPG, because fuck all of you.

Least favorite: Visual Novels, Sports games, "Sim" games.

I'm naming more hated genres because they're easier to single out.

Least - A mix between JRPG and Sports. Which is weird because I play sports in real life. Heh.
Favorite - A standoff between Western RPGs, FPSs, and Sandboxes. Until Chuck Norris walks in and wrecks everyone's shit.
