Simple as; just say your phobia(s) and list the most scariest encounter with it.
For me, I'm afraid of heights, or to put it more precisely I'm afraid of falling.
My worst encounter was during take off in a plane when I was 6, as I literally froze up and had lost consciousness for a short period.

What about you, Members of the escapist?

I'm deathly afraid (rimshot) of suffocating.

I'm not that claustrophobic, but if I ever get stuck in a very closed place, I will flip my shit.

My greatest fear is falling into darkness and not being able to breath. I suppose this is like being launched into space without a spacesuit on; or sinking into the dark depths of the ocean.

Spiders. They are so creepy with all their legs. It makes me sweat just to talk about it.

Oh I love spiders! I was always fascinated by them as a child.

Hmm, as far as phobias go, I am currently not aware of any, that however isn't to say I can't/don't/won't have any though.

Spiders that land on me without my noticing, or are hanging above me.

Normally spiders I can deal with. I tend to just ignore them, or get a glass if they're fairly active. If they're above me, the possibility of them dropping freaks the shit out of me and I have to remove them. If I find a spider ON me and didn't see it coming, I completely flip out, leave the area and, if I can't capture the spider quickly, have a panic attack, have to keep my feet in sight, and have no possibility of sleeping for the next 2 hours.

Also, bees, wasps, or anything flying creature able to imitate them. When I was about 8 or 9, I was stung, in the space of around 30 seconds, by three wasps. Must have stepped into a nest or something. For above a year after I had a crippling fear of them. It has subsided over the years after I moved into a larger city, without a real garden, and haven't really had to deal with them for a while.

I'm just bloody miserable.

Just kidding, I have aquaphobia which is awesome because it's not claustrophobia, arachnaphobia (note how careless I am at spelling that word) or anything else that actually sucks having.

What aquaphobia means for me is not being afraid of water itself, just afraid of unclear water that's too deep to feel with my feet when I'm not submerged. So I either have to be able to see the bottom or I need to be able to feel it. I can swim perfectly fine but hey, thinking rational isn't what phobias are all about.

I'm scared a spider will take up residence in a dark area of mine while I'm doing my business, if you catch my drift. Serious fear, you wouldn't want to wake up with a lot of baby spiders crawling inside you, would you?

The closest to a phobia.

Fear of heights... I'm always extra cautious when there's even a mild risk of falling a height.

Arachnophobic here. Pretty much anything with 8 legs will unnerve me, but the bigger the critter the more intense my response.

Fingertip sized spiders make me nervous and icky all over... anything bigger then that can cause proper fight or flight responses (heart palpitations, hair on end, rush of adrenaline... and even loosening of the bowel region. Luckily I have never soiled myself.)

I am deeply afraid of drowning and being submerged in water (so I guess hydrophobic?), the deeper it is the worse I get. I stopped taking baths in my early childhood because I freaked out from being submerged, so I started taking showers very early. But I can't have my head under the stream of water for too long otherwise I start to freak out.

Clowns are dicks. I don't like them, not because it's cool to be afraid of clowns, i seriously don't like them. But as for a Phobia...being trapped under ice. It's sounds stupid but i've had dreams about, i have no reason to fear it, never had a close call or anything scray happen to me or someone i know when i was a kid or anything like that. If there is such a thing as past lives and/or reincarnation then this is definetely one of the ways that i've gone... It's unexplainable, but I never go on frozen lakes...Ever. *Shrugs*

I have a fear toward spiders (arachniphobia). I not sure why I have a fear toward since since I remember a time I was fine with them (this was when I was little).
