Well since there are a lot of depressing topics on the forms today, because of the recent school shooting in america and with the approaching date of the so called "end of the world". I've decide to try and lighten up the forms a bit by talking about Christmas, tis the season and all that.

So my fellow escapists what's your plan of action when Christmas day comes around?

Putting a lock on my bedroom door so my kids don't wake me up at 3am.

Watching cartoons with the kids, because they want to watch them .... honest.

The lads and their wives are coming round in the evening for drunken Christmas joy.

Preparing a bucket and the sofa for my mega hangover on Boxing day.

Driving up to see my grandparents on the 24th (apparently). Driving back on Christmas Day. Hanging out and stuff on that day. Seeing the other grandparents on the 28th.

That's all I got, and it's currently subject to change.

Christmas eve plan nice dinner, bizarre game of cards over the phone with a friend in another state.
Christmas day play involves my kid, a buffet of our favorite foods, a pillow fort or reasonable facsimile
thereof & more cartoons & anime than is healthy. Mostly MLP:FIM but hoping for some Outlaw Star, possibly
Sailor Moon, Escaflowne and/or Ah! Megamisama & definitely our #1 Christmas tradition--first episode of
All Purpose Cultural Cat Girl Nuku Nuku (OVA).

Christmas Eve: open presents, eat bratwursts, talk to my parents on skype, and enjoy a fun little night with my brother and his wife.

Christmas Day: Drive to my sister in-laws ranch and hang out with her mother, brother, and aunt. Enjoy the evening with that family.

So pretty spend time with the family and enjoy life.

Wake up.
Open presents.
Eat chocolate log for breakfast.
Borderlands 2 co-op with my brother.
Go to grandparents' house for family dinner.
Return home, and depending on whether my brother takes a nap (he most likely will), play games accordingly.

Since Santa is busy I'm helping him out with a few of my moms friends whom got small kids so I go as him instead so he can get a few seconds to spare on other houses. Then open my presents, have dinner with family, chill...

25th
Go to moms parents and eat dinner, be drunk as hell with friends and the rest of the town during the night.

27th
Warcraft III LAN with 9 of my closest friends ;)

Not much other than working which I am not bother by (I will missed out on Boxing Dau with my family but again, I'm not bother by it).
My bro will be back on the 20th so hopefully maybe we could watch The Hobbit together on one of my day off.
Also there is a possible plan that on Chritmas day, we will go to this fancy hotel to have Christmas lunch set up in that hotel since my Uncle is friend with the manager of that hotel however I haven't heard anything from him if he had booked it.
Lastly to finally get to played Mass Effect since that what my brother will be getting for my present.

Sitting in my room studying and watching some youtube videos. And eating too many cookies probably.

Bitter? Whatever gave you that idea

The customary visiting of family and eating, maybe some backyard cricket if the weather is nice. I'm more looking forward to the 26th, Boxing Day test match and I get to see The Hobbit!

Mostly working. Get paid like 300%, woooooh! Dinner with the folks on the 23rd, not really into it but I'll sit through it for the turkey I guess. Have to work that day too, so I might end up getting there late and won't have to waste too much time with most of those bastards, yay!

Probably rewatching Community episodes and eating chocolate :D. My family celebrates Christmas, but our celebrations are usually just tasty food and movie marathons. I'm sick enough that travelling anywhere is mostly out of the question, and I'd rather not see my extended family. Most of them are bogans who I'd prefer to stay away from.

Should be fun, though. Christmas is a good excuse to relax and be very lazy for a few days.

I'm just going to hang out with my brother and sister, we'll probably end up watching Adventure Time or something while preparing lunch for our family gathering.

But in chronological order, here's our day.
Go to our Grandma's house for breakfast and to exchange presents.
Rest.
Make lunch.
Eat lunch.
Die from food overload and sleep till boxing day.

Been like this since I was a bub.

Step 1: Attempt to find any remaining alcohol from the previous night(s). If none found, skip to Step 3.

Step 2: Consume said alcohol.

Step 3: Be depressed.

Holiday Blues suck like that.
