GUITARS!

Yes, guitar rigs. Post a photo (or not, whatever suits) and list what your guitar/s and amp/s are. This is also for friendly discussion as to why you picked those guitars/pickups/amps/pedals.

This is NOT to turn into a Gibson vs Fender thread at all, or any other "Mine is better than yours" style thread.

Of course, I'll start.

Why I picked these guitars?

The Ibanez 10W amp and GAX 30 were bought for me a few years ago as a practice set.

I fell in love with a Gibson Explorer at a local music store...but was talked out of the Gibson in favour of the Epiphone by the staff because it turned out there was no difference aside from the price.

The Jackson was a weird thing, I walked into a second hand store, saw a Jackson guitar sitting on the wall, and it was $250, I bought it because I knew what they were worth and how good they were.

And then there's the EC-50. I've always enjoyed the look of the Les Paul style guitars. They're heavy, comfortable, and just a beauty to the eye.

The Ibanez TBX15R was a very powerful amp, and it was affordable. It has great tone and just produces a volume that a 15W shouldn't be able to produce.

The Zoom G1 Multi-Effects pedal was a good buy at $120, and I needed a guitar tuner/Distortion Pedal, this seemed like a good idea.

I've got an upside-down Yamaha acoustic guitar. Not the most expensive or impressive guitar but I've had in since I was twelve and I'd feel like I was cheating on it if I got something else.

It's upside-down because I'm a lefty and I got it restrung instead of buying a left-handed guitar.

Gibson Les Paul Studio with P-90s
Mod out to hell squire strat with duel studio output, so I can plug into two amps, a killswitch, and new tremolo with tune locks for when I go crazy with slamming it against the body xD (and throwing it in the air)
Guild Acoustic (which is my new baby for this acoustic band I'm in)
Fender 212 R Solid state (I'm not a fan of tube) played with slight distortion level so notes are still clear
Digitech Digital Delay and Phaser

I have a lot of friends that do that. With a simple acoustic, it makes no difference when you restring it. Hell, sometimes it doesn't even matter with electrics, just look at Hendrix.

...nice...that is all I can say to that.

I have a Fender Squire Strat, because it's a good alrounder.
And it doesn;t sound like a squirer at all, the sound is just fine. I am looking for a nwew one though. Already started saving, and I have 1000 euros waiting to be spent on guitar awesomeness.

Oh yeah, I have a Kustom amp, sounds awesome for a thing that size, and a Korg toneworks effects thingy. it's fun toying with that one, trying to recreate the 'message in a bottle' sound.
