I'm wondering if anyone else on the Escapist has a name that they use in RPG's. For me it's Forrest, or on the rare occasions when a game lets me chose my last name like Persona 3, Forrest Burns. The Forrest part comes from my love of the film Forrest Gump, the very reason I am who I am today and the Burns part is because it's one of my families names.

I use SturmD in FPS games, but if it's an RPG where I feel like roleplaying a bit, I'll be Sturm or Sturmdolch. Sturm = Storm in German and Dolch = Dagger.

I don't really have a set one. Just make it up depending on my character. Although my two DnD characters are called Lyali (elven ranger) and Taelen (human warrior).

My characters tend to have the last name 'Leviantine', I use that for my 360 Gamertag too.

I just love the way the word sounds. Le-vi-un-tyn

In RPGs, I've lately gotten attached to the name,Ayuta or in Devils Survivor Ayuta Toolik, nickname A Tool (Yes,A Tool is from Unskippable's Let's Play)

Eh, I just use my own name for most RPGs.
Unless it is a Bioware RPG. Namely the Kotor/Mass Effect games, and my current playthrough on New Vegas.
For which, player name is Bastable. A girl called Bastable. As her first name.
No one expects it.
That is why they always lose.

Depends on the character. For a mage it's almost always Malgamus, a warrior(dwarf especially) it's almost always Unufain.
If I play a female character I'm very fond of the name Jhany for some reason...

When playing RPGs, I usually borrow a name or two from Dragon Ball or I'll use the name Gotthew.

I use WildSeraph in things like MMORPG's and FPS's, where I don't have an actual name and just a screen name. But if it's a character name I need, I usually go with Arx Himura. I've recently started using Seraph as a first name in some games, too.

When I use a female character, I like the names Aya and Alice. Charlotte also works.

In Devil Survivor, I went with Destin Himura, nickname 'DeSu' to go with the game's title. My strange logic just thought it seemed fitting.

I've got a few, but the first one that I always use is Axle. Then if I make another male character he's usually called Red. For females, I usually go with Aneira first unless it doesn't seem to fit (like for various TES races) in which case I'll come up with something random or based off of what they look like.

Depends on the character concept I plan on recycling. Also depends on the timeframe of the game. Some names fit better than others. Having a character named "Malificus" on Fallout just doesn't fit with the world.
My thief/assassin is "Kyna" or some variant thereof.
My 'hunter' type, is usually named Nikki.
Various others.

Mine's usually Ben, but when a callsign is needed I always use ShadowKatt, or if it's a more oriental RP KageNeko. Occasionally I'll use other names, but not often.

I usually just make one up but recently I've found that 'Cassius' seems good enough for reuse. easy and distinctive, also helps that it's just my surname latin-ified.
