When are you at your best?

Just like it says, when are you at your best?

Personally, I'm at my best with a nice cuppa (mabey even a pot or 2) and 3 hours of nothing but me and a good video game.

What about you?

Late at night, when in the middle of a gig, with a good band behind me, and we all hit a fantastic groove and just go with it, and the audience are right there too.

For solo times, late at night, when I've managed to replenish my levels of interest in things (when I don't get to watch TV, play games, play the guitar and read multiple fiction books, I get crabby) and then i can settle in to writing my own books, which are always better in this state.

Either at work, cooking a set of 20-30 meals at once (not on my own of course) with heavy music playing, or back here at home playing an RTS with similar music.

That's when I feel like I can get shit done.

While wearing my Yukata, late at night, snuggly in the couch with an exciting movie or TV show and something yummy to eat and drink =3. Maybe even a glass of wine late summer nights, thats the only time of the year I drink alcohol ^^.

I'm at my best when I'm mind-blowingly pissed. I'm normally a very laid back individual, but when someone does something completely out of line, I become far more calm. I'm already a fairly smart person, but when pissed (not frustrated, but pissed), I become brilliant.

I'd rather be at my best when I'm in a good mood, but I guess we can't all get what we want, can we?

My peak "thinking time" is right around 11:00-12:00 at night. At least, that is when I get my best writing done. My worst is right after school (3:30). I can hardly even speak to people intelligently, as I usually just listen to my iPod while on the train. My brain kind of just shuts down a little now out of habit.

Right now, I wrote a successful column, got positive feedback from the best columnist on the site, aced an Econ test, heard Eminem's newest release and found out that my sister is getting married. Today was a good day.
