The other day is was listening to System Of A Down which I enjoy, as some of you know System has some strange songs and it got me thinking when does unque become annoying, ecpechally singing voices. I'm not saying I find System annoying there one of my favourite bands, I'm just intreasted what people think, thats all.

Serj's voice is annoying, but not to the point where you can't stomach it unless you really listen to them a lot, which I don't really anymore.

Gerard Way has a potentially annoying voice, as does Oil Sykes of Bring Me The Horizon. Sykes really starts to get on my nerves after a while, but I still consider him a decent vocalist.

I don't mind if people are unique and would not find them annoying in most instances. If they are trying too hard to make themselves unique to gain attention instead of merely showing their style, I might find this annoying.

I really don't care for System of a Down anymore. I can do with Serj's voice fine, but Daron's bothers me the most. I don't know why, but since he started singing more (Also, the change of musical style with Mesmerize/Hypnotize but that's not the subject here), I can't really listen to them as much. Another annoying voice is Axl Rose. Guns-n'-Roses is great and all that, but his voice is grating at times.

To me stagnant is far more annoying than unique.
Sometimes things are just bad. No big shock there.
But if it's just generic rock and roll you will NEVER EVER beat Led Zeppelin. [sub]or maybe The Who[/sub]
So when my ear holes get assaulted with more and more generic rock and roll it's annoying no matter how good it is.

Silver Tide is an amazing band, but they don't have an original sound in their repertoire. And it's annoying.

That's why I listen to Breaking Benjamin (for the insane drumming) and Coheed and Cambria (because Claudio Sanchez can hit notes that I wasn't sure existed until I heard them)

But unique-ness doesn't have that problem. Have you ever heard anything that sounds remotely like "That One Guy"? Nope. sure you may not like it but it doesn't get annoying because it's not done to death.

The same thing happens with movies and video games.
If I have to hide behind one more chest high wall I will get fucking annoyed. I don't care how good the game in question is. Every game makes you do it so it's boring

i guess it depends on personality, personally i think the tail would look pretty b.a. to me (and im not even a furry)

but give the kid some props for not givin a damn about what people would think
