When to play Spiderman's Heist DLC?

The Heist DLC for Spiderman PS4 came out, and I wanna know when I should play it?

Namely, is it set after the main story?, is is spoilery?, is it self-contained?, is it set during the story?

From what I've read, it does take place after the main story and it is not self contained. Apparently it is the start of a new 3 part story which is the City That Never Sleeps thing. A review I just read will help you out.
