Which historical period would you most like to live in? (Be as precise or vague as you like... e.g. 14th Century, or Yesterday at 5:30pm when I ate the greatest cake ever made...)

I would like to live as the socially elite during the days of the old British Empire in the 1900s. Or during the rise of big business and industries in the U.S. in the late 1800s to early 1900s, with all the knowledge and research I can carry with me. I can build an industrial empire and make my family namesake one associated with powerful business and billionaires.

I want to go in the future 100 years, when there's time machines, and meet my future self. Then, I want to trick my future self into a time machine and send him back to current day, so I could meet my futures self without having to enter a time machine.

Pre-Roman Britain, I'd be a God amongst men, and that stupid Boudica(spelling?) wouldn't be in a position to lose when out numbering her enemy 6 to 1.

I'd considerably change history and call myself Arthur ;)

At some point after we figured out how to hunt animals, but before we settled down and started farming.

Second choice would be sitting there when the guy who invented ice cream, came up with it. Quite a momentus occasion I'm sure.

Probably medievil Britain in the 13th century (when dragons still existed). I'd train on eup and fly round Europe doing stuff with my dragon until I got bored and kicked it.

In a time when you could dress up in a tuxedo, have monocle, ridiculous moustache, cane stick and you would be called Gentleman instead of villain.

Ten years from now. I think by then the recession will be over and science will have progressed enough so that life is more convenient but not too much so that we all get lazy.
