For me it was Beyblade, DBZ and Power Rangers.

I always wanted to be a Super Saiyan, a Power Ranger, and have a Beyblade like they do in the show.

Power Rangers were good...though I always ended up the blue one in school.

We always Played Pokemon and DBZ too.

Still the coolest ones were also Dexters Lab and Samurai Jack

EDIT: And I forgot to ad Robot Wars on there. That was Awesome. (Only saw the UK version)

Uh... I can't really remember. I kind of remember a lot of people watching pokemon.
Still, Johnny Bravo was WAY better!

I'm going to buck the trend of stating obvious ones and say Time Commanders. A show that combined my love of videogames, war, and history.

Each week a different team of 4 people would take control of an army in a historical battle and try to win. This was done via the use of a game engine heavily based on ROME: Total War. Basically it's every strategy gamer's dream. You and your friends acting as generals with a big war room of computer screens giving orders.

My friend said it was a boring show, and was just you watching people play a game. I countered, of course, that he religiously watches Rugby matches on TV and they don't have siege battles in them.

The best ones were when you shouted at the screen because they made retarded tactical decisions.

I also loved Scrapheap Challenge. I don't know if it's on any more.

Pokemon, and Yu-Gi-Oh were big.
Edd Ed 'n' Eddy was pretty sweet, too.

Sadly, since my elementary school was kind of sheltered, we never really got to play with toys from outside of school, like Pokemon cards and such. I guess this was to prevent kids from bringing in toy guns and such, but I feel like I missed out on a lot of stuff that kids were doing then do to that and not living in a neighborhood.

Goof.
Troop.

I never thought Mickey was all that grand. Always thought Goofy was where it was at.
So this show. It was da boom.

When I was in single digits, it was X-men The Animated Series and Power Rangers. When I turned 10 it was Dragon Ball Z. I've also been at dedicated Spongebob fan since about the age of 8 to the age of 21 and beyond.

EDIT: Wow, uh, this is embarrassing but, uh... I forgot about Pokémon. I am genuinely mad at myself.
